Hi ladies....I've never posted here but thought this is the place to ask. I have a 2 year old and due in 8 weeks. We have a great routine but I really want to start more of a structured "school" or learning centered morning and get a routine in place before baby comes. Just wondering what sort of things you do with your toddler? Ideas for routine or is there a curriculum you follow? TIA I know she is young and her attention span is short just looking for some advice.
Re: Toddler routine
breakfast
prayer and praise time
brush teeth/get dressed
errands/library storytime/playdate OR free play while I do chores
snack
more play time
lunch
read aloud time
nap (for A.)/quiet time for J.
free play
make dinner
playtime
bedtime stuff
I will be starting a Bible story of the week thing soon. We will probably do those activities after snack time in the morning. It's based on the free God's Little Explorer's curriculum.
I don't attach specific times to anything. With a 4 yo, 2 1/2 yo, and 11 mo I'd never be able to stick to it. But a routine works for us.
