Does eveyone get a level 2 ultrasound for their AS?

I just scheduled my 20 week ultrasound and it was marked as a Level 2. I had a level 2 with my son as well I think. I'm just curious if that's the standard name for an AS or if they are doing this as a high risk thing? I never asked with my son.

high risk meaning - I had a blood clotting health issue and take blood thinners

    Level 2 is standard, as far as I know.

    We had a level two us with #1 and I wasn't high risk but we did miss the early testing (we found out we were expecting right around 13 weeks so we couldn't schedule the testing in time). I could be wrong but I think the level two is the anatomy scan so k think it's common. Good luck with everything. :-)

    They do check the anatomy but they do a lot of measurements on baby and organs and other things as well. It is the only test required by our doctor's office which is fine by me. We had one for our DD as well.

    Level 2 is a standard one I think. My hospital is requiring them once a month because of multiples not because of my blood clotting issues. I know I had a level 2 for my NT scan and will also have it for AS, and for all of my MFM appointments.
