And here I am again. Another failed month... No follicles for this month that grew enough... not even one and it was with 150mg of Clomid. Hubby and I are moving to adoption.
Good luck to all you ladies. Hope you have more success
I'm really sorry about your lack of response...but good luck with the adoption process.

Working with new RE starting injectables in late August.
Looking at your post history it seems like you just started treatment and did your first IUI in July. Is there a reason that you've decided not to try a different treatment plan for next cycle? Everyone's different, of course, but you don't seem to be happy about going the adoption route, so I'm curious as to why you're not trying other things first.
TTC since July 2012 BFP 5/22/13. Lap. to remove ectopic and dx with endo. 6/16/13
RE consult: June 2014
DX: FVL, endo, hypothyroidism, blocked left tube
Oct. 2014: First treatment cycle: Clomid+trigger+IUI=BFN
My friend didn't O until she did injectibles for a few months, and now she has a wonderful 1yo. Everyone is different. I'm sure many girls here could tell you about some other options besides clomid.
That said, I think adoption is a beautiful thing, and it is something that DH and I hope to pursue regardless of what happens with us. I guess I'm just reacting to that sad face you put down after saying that you're moving to adoption. I would hate to think that you're not going into this decision with some joy, though I know that there is sadness in ending one type of journey to begin another.

That is what I was noticing too. I went back to the previous discussions and saw that it seemed they were on IUI 1.
OP, I didn't mean to sound as if adoption wasn't a good idea; I think it is. I just saw the sad face and I think I got the impression you were unhappy about it. Good luck with everything.

Me: 26 DH: 27
TTC #1 Since Aug. 2013
Cycle 1: O CD 25=bfn
Cycle 2: O CD 48=bfn
Cycle 3: Anovulatory/Provera =120 days!
Cycle 4: Anovulatory/Prometrium=127 days! RE consult 6/16
Also not trying to be offensive, but also wondering if you were wanting to look in to other treatment options but just maybe didn't know about all of the options? A lot of women don't respond to clomid but may respond to femara or injectables. I had a much better response to Femara than Clomid (though not a good enough response) and we are now moving on to injectables and IUI.
I hope you are able to move down a path that brings you both happiness and peace with this whole IF journey. Good luck!

The reason I just tried one IUI was because that was the only time I got to have one mature folicle. I have been ttc for 2 years. With clomid I had few tries. I am not stopping because there are no other ways. I am deciding to stop because I am not willing to keep trying all this medications that keep messing up with my mood and so with no results- I am sure you know what I mean- when I can also adopt a child who actually needs me. Sad face is not because of adoption, it is because of another failed month because I keep having hopes that next month it will work, and it doesnt.
Re: Another bad month
I have heard that some people don't respond well to clomid but do to femara or injects just so you know too.
Good luck with the adoption process.
I'm sorry this wasn't a good month for you.
