So, I updated the other day on DH and I switching REs after I felt mine wasn't giving me the full diagnosis before pushing drugs on me. I love my new RE and despite her treating me like her personal pin cushion for the past month, I am so thrilled and feel like she has done her job to the fullest.
I had my saline histogram a few weeks ago and she found scar tissue, which after intense cramping I felt I had passed later that day; she must have loosened it with her poking and prodding in there. Hoped this was our answer to everything! DH and I decided to try this month and do the surgical intervention next month(to ensure the scar tissue was gone), rather than inducing a bleed mid cycle since the RE saw a large and good looking follicle during the ultrasound.
In the meantime, RE found I was not immune to Rubella (although my old RE found that I was), so she had me come in for a blood PG test before my vaccination. Well, I got the BEST phone call later that day! I know I ovulated 7 days after passing the tissue and... well... time for my BFP!
A family member just went into labor while out to brunch with DH and I last week and I had been an emotional wreck since then, wondering when it was our turn. I didn't see this coming. After so much bad news, you don't expect to hear good news.
Progesterone levels are kind of low, so we're on high alert right now with suppositories to try and stabilize me, blood tests Monday and Wednesday next week and ultrasound the following week to ensure everything is where it should be. Risky right now, so DH is treating me like a walking porcelain doll. Thankfully and coincidentally, I have three weeks off from work, so I'm hoping we can get everything stable. Lots of cramping... Hope this isn't a bad thing.
Thank you all for your continued support. I may not be a constant contributor to the boards, but I'm an avid reader and not only do I learn so much, but I feel supported through the wonderful women who are on this board. Many a tear-filled day was made much better by reading everyone's posts and feeling support through the community.
