Re: Symptoms

  • I definitely felt full and had trouble eating then. The trouble eating eventually eased off but you're going to feel way more full.

  • I had a weird out-of-breath thing at that time.  It was confusing because obviously nothing was preventing me from getting deep breaths.  It went away in about a week.  I'm huge now and I haven't felt that way since!

  • At 8 weeks, I had the weird out of breath feeling and so much freaking nausea that I never wanted to eat.

  • I am feeling the same way. Much more achy then with my Ds, nausea, that winded feeling and much more pressure in my belly. I am 10 week.

Does the 2nd tri energy burst and more"normal" feeling still happen with twins?

  • I think at 8 weeks your body is making a lot of adjustments. There are still a lot of changes happening even though the babies are tiny. There is a second tri energy burst, for me, it was just shorter than a song Ten energy burst. But I have a set of twin toddlers taking up a lot of energy in addition to this twin pregnancy.

I remember feeling awesome from about 14-18 weeks....and then I went back to school and being on my feet all day and started getting BH all the time, so the energy burst was short-lived in my case.

OP, it's normal to feel winded....I was surprised how early that happened to me too! My OB explained it as being due to the extra bloodflow. Get as much rest as you can; first tri can be no fun!
