Vocabulary and milestones

DD is only saying dada and still babbles. No mama yet. She's been saying dada for about a month now. She also knows her head and how to blow a kiss but is having trouble knowing her nose. It's hilarious that she wants praise for touching her ear when I ask her to point out her nose. Occassionally she will get her feet right. How are your LOs doing with all of this stuff. It's funny bc we've been working on the nose for literally 10 days now but she got how to blow a kiss in mere seconds

LO says mama, dada, no and tries repeating a lot of words ( it comes out as babble but it's obvious she's trying to repeat the words). Yesterday she was repeating "up and down" while doing the motion of going up and down. DD1 is in speech therapy so we stress speech, sounds, and we do A LOT of talking to help DD1 and I think LO has picked up a lot of it already. She claps and waves and has mastered every and all cups thanks to stealing her sister's. She's a butt scooter, gets into sitting position, crawls backwards but not crawling forward. She is quite the butt scooter I really doubt she will crawl at this point.

^^ wss. She doesn't have any specific words yet she's more just babbling. But she does wave hello and good bye and give kisses. The other day she leaned over the arm rest in the chair and started babbling and waving at the dog. It was SO cute!

We just got mama last week for the first time. So basically dada, mama, & baba. Not convinced he actually knows what it means. He just started waving bye. We've been working on blowing kisses and finding his nose but he couldn't care less about any of it. I just keep repeating stuff and figure eventually he'll pick up on it.

Ditto to this @jojo1112‌ except she starting waving about a month ago. She says mama and dada and baba. If I ask where's dada she looks for him but she kind of just babbles them I think. I try to work on nose and she looks at me like I'm insane.

Only mama and sometimes baba. A lot of babbling though. She doesn't clap but will wave every once in a while if she's in the mood. She gives Hi-fives and kisses.

LO was a bit older, but he is saying mamma, dada, up, and he has said baba a couple times when waving goodbye, not sure he has the word yet though. He is waving, giving kisses, high fives and claps.

I haven't started working on body parts, I am going to start now though :)

LO says dada, baba, and mama (but only when she's upset lol). She also says dah for dogs. She does seem to understand what all of those mean. She's not doing so well with identifying body parts but we keep just repeating and eventually she will pick it up. There is such a range of normal for this kind of stuff.

Da-Da, MaMa and hi. He will wave but like @starscream‌ 's Wheezy, he is selective. He has clapped but doesn't do it a lot. He will sign milk. I've been working on blowing kisses and where's your nose and much like @jlp0528‌ I get a 'woman you must be crazy look'.

DS says mama, mom, dada, ball, and no in context. He waves, claps, high fives, blows kisses, and touches his head when we say " Ohh my goodness." I haven't really worked on body parts but will start now. He will follow commands such as "come here," "up," "Throw the ball" and "find dada."

Baby girl has been clapping since she was 6 months. She loves to clap that girl. I think it fits her disposition. She also waves (selectively), gives high fives and kind of lifts her arms to be picked up. Been trying to teach her to blow kisses but she's having none of it. Although she does make kissy noises all the time by smacking her lips.
She says dada, baba, gaga, vava and mama. I didn't think she knew what any meant, but she does only call mama when she's upset. And there was one time where I was in the other room and she very distinctly and succinctly said MaMa very upset and pointed. As soon as she saw me enter the room she smiled. So I choose to believe that's her first word :) She also has conversations by herself all the time. I think she thinks we understand.

DD isn't saying anything yet, she's been making "brrr" noises that end in a squeak and that's pretty much it for vocabulary right now. She used to babble "mamama" and "dadada" and the last couple months or more I've noticed she's stopped trying to talk. I'm going to bring it up at her 1 year appointment though because it is a little concerning that she's stopped.

She knows "tap tap tap" if I say it she'll tap her hands on the table or edge of the tub or on anything really, we started by getting her to tap our hands, she loves this! If we say "kisses" she'll come at us with a big open mouth lol. Her newest milestone is showing me where the eyes are on her stuffed animals when I ask "where are the pigs (or bear/bunny etc) eyes?" Sometimes she gets the "eyes" and "nose" mixed up but she's figuring it out pretty quick! :)

My husband taught LO how to meow and the kid does it now when he sees the cats. He loves the cats. Lol

LO has been clapping since around 7 months and waving since around 8 months (but like others have said it is selective).  As far as motor skills he rolls, crawls very well and cruises around holding onto things.  He also takes a few steps sometimes.  He can crawl up stairs.  As for words he says hi/hey with expression!  He also says ball.  He have a Roomba which he loves and he calls it ba.  He babbles mama and dada put I don't count them as words since I think they are just babbling.  He does say mama when upset though and DH says one time when he heard the garage opening he told DS Mama is coming home and he got all excited....so who knows maybe he knows what it means.  He loves our cats and speaks to them in a high pitch voice.

Lo knows mama, dada, and a form of kitty. He knows who each of us are and will call us by mama or dada. He also claps, waves, will give kisses if I ask, and just started to walk unassisted.
    Edited for clarity.

He says mama, dada, nana (although I don't think he's saying in the correct context) and I'm pretty sure he is saying doggie. He also does a "Khhhhh" noise when he sees the kitty. Oh and yesterday I think he said "A, B" when the alphabet song started playing. I'm not 100% sure that he knows what he's doing yet on that though.

He also waves, claps and blows kisses. I'm working on the "I'm watching you" hand gestures as well. :) We haven't done much with body parts yet so I don't think he knows much of those.

I'm with @smlowe9311‌ and @Burrberrymum‌. No words yet, but lots of babbling, cooing, screeching, etc. Still not crawling either--everything but.

I have to say, this thread made me feel terrible.

This, except LO is crawling. She babbles a lot but I have no idea what she is saying. I guess I need to start teaching her more things...

We've got mama very clearly, an occassional dada and he says "Hi" when he waves.  He is also constantly waving.  He claps, he'll put both arms in the air if we say touch down, high fives, gives kisses, and he is basically running at this point.  His favorite activity is slamming cabinet doors and drawers.
