We are mostly an over easy household. Except DH who likes his scrambled. I hate scrambled eggs. Or any kind of egg where you cook the yolk through. Eggs just aren't worth it without yolk running everywhere.
@miniwheat10 back when I was single, I actually figured out how to successfully poach eggs in boiling water. I had only ever used a poacher before. So much more delicious that way.... And I like how they kinda look like brains.
Before BFP? Poached soft, hard boiled, sunny side up, scrambled, omelet...you name it. After BFP? Have to choke those suckers down when they are the only option.
I like mine sort of in between over easy and hard. I like the yolk a little runny but also hard. But I can't eat eggs while pregnant. Both pregnancies I've puked my brains out when I tried.
I JUST had a bowl of cereal and this thread is making me want to go make some scrambled eggs with cheese with bacon on the side.... So tempting!
ETA: An hour after this post, I made some scrambled eggs, but with sausage and potatoes instead of bacon. I'm such a pig, lol.

Also, local eggs from pastured chickens taste so different and 1000x better than grocery store. The yolks are so rich they're orange, not yellow. To die for.
I love eggs! I go through phases - I'll be obsessed with poached for a while, then over easy, then scrambled, then soft boiled. Covered in yummy hollandaise sauce is always a win, and clearly the healthy option
i like mine over easy. whether i eat them scrambled or over easy i have to ea them with ketchup. Thats the way my dad always made our eggs. I never knew that was unusual until I was a teen and stayed the night at friends houses.

has anyone ever tried duck eggs? I had never even seen them before but they were bought from a local farm and appeared at my DH's family's house over the weekend when we were visiting. My 5 minute online research said they taste just the same as chicken eggs, maybe a little creamier. Despite this I was not feeling adventurous enough to try one! They are like 30% bigger in size than chicken eggs, and apparently are great for baking!
I hate the way eggs taste, but I chose scrambled. When I eat them, I have to have milk and cheese in them. Or as egg salad. Yolks are the devil. I pretty much only eat them if I'm looking for a high-protein breakfast.

Yes! We have a lot of local farmers, and were given some duck eggs last year. They taste about the same, but they're HUGE!
I also had a reading fail about pasteurized chickens. So confusing! But I totally love farm fresh eggs. When I'm at the grocery store I only ever eat 'good karma' eggs.
I love me either over easy, sunny side up, soft boiled, or soft poached. I will do hard boiled for ease, but a runny yolk is my favorite thing. I'm not a huge fan of scrambled (especially hard scrambled), but will eat them if no alternative presents itself.
Also, seconding the mention of duck eggs. I will snag those whenever I can because I like them so much more than chicken eggs. I've also had goose eggs, which are really goos for bulk consumption.
