What's exciting for the week ahead?

I think we could spice up Sunday night a bit yeah? So what's the one exciting thing you look forward to this week? If nothing is exciting enough, what do you wish for? What can you do to make it happen?

This is a share + get motivated to get something done kind of post!

So tell me ladies as I'm sure reading your stories will motivate me a ton!!

This is my last week before vacation!!!!!! I'm not excited to go on the vacation necessarily, but I could use the break from work!

I'm looking forward to starting yoga this week! I promised myself I would and I want to stick to it. I want to start with 20 mins and take it from there.

Andplusalso I am determined to make some mommy friends in my area. I have been following some groups on meetup.com but just did not actually go to an event. I will be going to one on Thursday night. Can't wait!

DH and I are taking all 3 kids to the big water park here tomorrow. They've never been before and we aren't tell them where we're going, they are gonna flip! Thursday is DD's orientation for Kindergarten, she's so excited to meet her teacher. Friday we're going to an indoor inflatable bouncy place with an old friend and her sons. We usually stay in a lot because of the baby and how hot it has been, so this is gonna be a busy fun week for us.

We leave for vacation Wednesday morning. Tomorrow is story hour at the library. I have to get us all packed plus drop off paperwork at daycare. And since it's August, I try to do something school related everyday for at least a little so it's not so daunting in the last week.

On Friday H and I are going on our first over night away from LO. We are going to get a hotel room, go out for dinner and drinks, sleep in, and go to brunch the next morning. Granted I am still going to put LO to bed before we leave, and we will be gone for less than 12 hours. But I am so looking forward to a night of uninterrupted sleep and sleeping in.

A friend of mine from when I lived in NC is visiting this week with her son! I'm so excited! And DH is getting his first (and only) tattoo Friday. I'm excited to see it.

Hugs @Avswolf‌ I'll be thinking of you on Tuesday.

We have a busy week! Tomorrow mourning we are going to a trial visit at LO's daycare to meet the teachers and hand in our paperwork. Then Tuesday we are having our safety fence installed around our pool. Wednesday is LO's first day at daycare! I'm so nervous. DH is going to work from home that day so he can go pick LO up a little early. Baby steps! It's so weird to leave your precious baby with strangers! :-S

Tomorrow I am getting my Nexplanon inserted, and I am actually excited about that because I won't have to remember my pills! And then I am picking up some yummy sandwiches and meeting @JA82406 for a GTG at the lake with our littles, woo hoo!

And then I am making homemade peach ice cream which I am SOOO excited about!

I'm really excited for our GTG, @golfergirl08! Although I'm still sitting on my couch being super lazy and I haven't even started getting ready yet. Coffee might help.

I'm also excited for my Nar-Anon meeting tomorrow. It will be the 4th week and the meeting keeps bringing in new faces which makes me so happy!

Then we are going to go see DH on Sunday. I can't wait.

Thanks, I think it's great too. I started the meeting which was really nerve-wracking because I had no clue what I was doing. But after I ordered literature, signed the lease for our meeting room, and went to a bunch of NA, AA, and HA meeting to promote the meeting, it all kind of fell into place. It makes me happy that I was able to provide a place for people who are in situations like mine to come and talk and get help.

Sorry for the slight thread jack.

We have a busy week. DD started with a new sitter today. I've started the process of weaning myself from pumping. I cut down to once a day over the weekend, and will quit by Friday. Thursday is DD's 6 mo appointment, plus our errand-running day. Friday is FIL's birthday (I'm making a cake), and we are headed to the lake for the weekend (DD's first night away from home!-- and a trial run for our week-long vacation next month)

Really looking forward to it. Glad I had a long maternity leave. Now looking forward to more of a routine and coffee breaks!!!
