CA weather, help! EDITED

So being a FTM I'm already so nervous. Well I moved from Ohio to Cali in March and well, the weather is just not the same lol! Our little girl is due November 1st and I've just been stressing over what type of clothes we should have around the first 0-6 months. I've never been through a "winter" in California so I feel lost. After having a terrible winter in Ohio and then coming here I feel all outta wack. I realize it will probably be warmer but I don't wanna be wasting money on things since babies outgrow stuff so fast!

    I'm living in San Diego! The most my little guy will be needing is light weight pants and some long sleeve onesies.

    Edited :) I'm in San Diego. I keep hearing about the El Nino, but does that mean it's gonna be warm like normal and really wet or wet but cold?

    You'll hit a frigid 65 in San Diego :P 

    Seriously, San Diego is just sweater weather at all times.  There are no seasons.  It's just amazing weather all the time with like 6 days of rain total in a year.  It's perfect :)

    I also live in San Diego (Oceanside) -- WELCOME! Our winters here aren't bad.. At all! I've been out tanning on the beach in November before so I wouldn't bother with getting anything too heavy. Short sleeves and pants will be great.. and for the really chilly days.. A light sweater will do :) Altho also have some dresses/shorts handy cuz we get some random warm days through the "winter". What part of SD are you in?

    You're so right about that! I lived in El Cajon for 2.5 years and it's definitely warmer there than where I am now!! you'll laugh when you see what our winters are like.. Especially east county winters!

    You're so right about that! I lived in El Cajon for 2.5 years and it's definitely warmer there than where I am now!! you'll laugh when you see what our winters are like.. Especially east county winters!
    Lol it will be nice though to be able to drive 45 minutes and get the feeling of home and snow. Then go back to being warmer and never scraping my windshield again lol. I love snow, but hated the hassles that came with it ;) best of both worlds!!

    Yea I can't even imagine living in snow! Last year hubby and I made it a point to go lay on the beach and play in the snow the same day.. So we went from laying on the beach in the sun in Oceanside .. To snow play/sledding in the Julian mountains -- all within 45 min. It was so fun!

    Eta.. & come to think of it that was first week in December!
