Way the F back in January when I found out my single friend was accidentally pregnant I stupidly volunteered to throw her a baby shower assuming that of course I would be pregnant by August (WRONG) Why? Why the hell would I do that? At least she's in the military and in Japan so it's an online baby shower. Not nearly as bad. I love her dearly and I know she is very freaked out but it's becoming increasingly difficult for me to listen to her bitch about how much being pregnant sucks day after day after day and how she's not even sure she wants to be a mom. Bitch, put that baby on a plane and I'll take her!!

We painted our kitchen and I hate the it. But we're not going to fix it because we're working on renovation plans and this was supposed to be a temporary fix as I hated the previous colour (a brown from the previous owner). It's not even that I don't like the new colour, I love that, it's that I hate how it goes with the rest of the ugly kitchen.

two things. first, why did i have to get a raging infection from the 5 straight days of monitoring i had last week. then the nurse tells me, oh you could have told them to use saline instead of gel to avoid this. well, why didn't they tell me that?

then, when i finally got to go in for my IUI on sunday, my clinic put me in a room next to a crying baby. i am wondering if i overreacted. i was pretty upset. i think that the one "save haven" i should have from being constantly reminded that i am not pregnant should maybe be the treatment room where i receive my fertility treatment? just a thought.

not having good thoughts about this cycle. i don't know if i even ovulated given the glacial pace my follicles were growing at and the fact that i have had zero ovulation symptoms.

I ate everything that wasn't nailed down yesterday at N's bday party and managed to gain about 4lbs in one day. This will be a fun week feeling like crap and trying get that 4lbs off.
