My DD always ends up in camo with no pants when daddy dresses her. He's all excited about his country girl, but pants are too much work for diaper changes, therefor she is always pantsless. I will try to get a picture next time!
DH is still clueless to baby clothes terminology. I will ask for feetie pj's and he will bring a onsie and pants. I ask for a onsie he brings a shirt. You'd think 3+ months in he'd have a clue. The only item of clothing he is sure to get right is socks. He also never snaps the onsie when he dresses him.
This cracked me up & wtf with the unsnapped onesies! Mine does the same thing.
Pretty much all of baby C's wardrobe goes with everything else....probably 90% of the pants/shorts go with 90% of the shirts/onesies. There are a few weird ones. But really, very few things don't go with either navy, khaki, or charcoal pants/shorts.
DH said he was going to get DS dressed this morning but all of the clothes seemed too small. He didn't think to check one drawer below to find the right size clothes.

My 2 favories are the creative snapping of the pj's. I couldn't duplicate what he did if I tried. The second is the headband under the chin instead behind the head. He hasn't put her in a headband since.
He always puts her in dresses. I rarely put her in them, but I guess he likes dressing her up. And he always wants her socks to match her outfit. It's kinda cute how much thought he puts into it.
@Nik102 classy! We have a bib my friend got us as a joke that says "I drink until I pass out" and he wanted to put her in it when we took her to meet my coworkers for the first time.
Sorry the cat was all up in my business and I accidentally hit post. What I was trying to say was at lest your DH consulted with you first I was blindsided.
DH dresses DD every morning so it's always a surprise when I pick her up after work. One day it was a pink stripe shirt with navy blue pants with a heart and anchor print. Apparently he thought he did a great job matching the pink of the stripes to the hearts. I think it's pretty funny and keep my comments to myself (and the bump)
My DH likes to put him in too-big clothing that comes from a drawer we don't use right now. He loves this one shirt that's 18mo. Last night it was 9mo shorts...

DH is also guilty of taking off whatever pants I put in her because bottoms are apparently just too much work. I think right now he'd say I'm the one who shouldn't dress her since last week I put her in one of my favorites of her outfits, knowing it was a little too small, but hoping she could wear it just one more time. Well, long story short, she peed on it, and it was too tight to get her out of it, so DH ended up cutting it off of her!
Haha my H puts way more thought and effort into awesome outfits, picks out/buys more clothes, etc. He's also way more likely to put little man in a onesie, shirt +pants, while as far as I'm concerned a diaper and onesie or pajama, or even just a diaper (cloth) is good enough for me.
Why would I want to undress and redress him at every diaper change if there's no one but me to enjoy the outfit anyways?
Everytime DH changes LO, he has to sit like this for a moment or two before he pulls it completely off, and my husband still cracks up everytime. (Nerd)
LO always ends up in pjs when DH dresses her. Kinda cute as she then looks like a little baby again not the little lady growing very fast in front of our eyes!
since it's summer and lo is pretty much in just a onesie and socks all the time, DH hasn't put him in anything too crazy yet. There have been a few days where I've come home and LO is in nothing but a diaper....makes me wonder what they were up to all day!
