After having a crying meltdown in Carter's this week over a onesie that said "Aunt's......" My H and I got into a discussion about who buys those. Backstory: I had posted that my closest aunt, mom's sister, who is turning 60 this fall was just diagnosed terminal with pancreatic cancer. She hasn't had a chance to meet Jace yet (hopefully will at Thanksgiving!) and so I got the sads and had to buy that onesie. H says that those type of onesies HAVE to come from the named person. Wrong or right?
Should baby clothes that say "Aunt's, Grandma's, etc." only be bought by the named relative? 121 votes
Only bought by named person.
Totally fine to be bought by parent
No onesies with sayings like that should ever be bought.
Chloe says anyone can buy anything they want.

BFP: 1.19.2013 - EDD: 10.2.2013 - It's a girl! 9.25.13: Welcome Addison!
"I love grandma" should be purchased by parents.
"Grandma's pumpkin" should be purchased by grandma.
I honestly don't think it matters. I think you should purchase the outfit if it makes you happy. I am sure it will put a smile on her face, and isn't that the point of them anyways?
