I started running back in May, and I've recently (this week) gotten myself up to 6 mile runs. In the last week, I had one 3 mile run and three 6 mile runs. Since hitting that 6 mile mark, I'm finding that I'm starving all the time. It seems like no matter how much I'm eating, I'm never full, and I figure it's got to be because I've burned significantly more calories this week than I had been recently.
My question is....what are your go-to snacks that are healthy and make you feel like you're not starving?
ETA: I just scrolled down the board and realized I could've posted this in the healthy living check-in. I didn't even think of it since I'm not usually part of that check-in, but it probably would've been a good place for this question!

I try to eat pretty natural for the most part. I like to eat carrots and peanut butter, carrots and hummus, apples and a nut butter, nuts with dried fruit, granola bars, fruit and yogurt, and for really high mileage, then soft pretzels with gouda/Swiss cheese. After a really long run, I drink chocolate milk or ovaltine. I find then that my meals don't stick with me long enough.

PgAL/PAL Welcome
Sorry about your injuries! I definitely want to avoid that.
I've been running 3-4 times a week, going on the elliptical at the gym 2-3 times, and then taking 1-2 days to rest. I also try to alternate days so that I'm not running two days in a row now that I'm going longer distances.
