Vaginal pressure and swelling over here.....

I've been having off and onvaginal pressure for the last month or so. It is especially bad when going pee and after a long day on my feet carrying toddlers around. Anyone else having this? I'm debating putting a call into my ob. I feel like I just want to lay around all day. When it first started at about 15 weeks I went into my ob and the did a vaginal us to check my cervix, which was long and closed. What do yup guys think? I'm thinking no more exercising or carrying both toddlers and more rest? I had this with my first twin preg but not until 30 weeks of so......

  • Would a support band help? I am thinking I need one. Maybe not carrying both toddlers...

  • I have both lots of pressure and lots of swelling in that area too. :( I brought it up at my appointment because I didn't have that with my singletons and they assured me it was normal. Mine started around the 25th week. Pelvic rest and taking it easy, they said. Which is really easy with a 4 and 3 year old. :P I did call labor and delivery when it got so bad that I could barely walk. It never hurts to call for peace of mind. They also told me to up my water intake and that may help. I tried a support band but I found it hot and uncomfortable.
  • I would say call just so they can rule out something like a UTI or other problems

  • I've felt this really badly a couple times. Both times I overdid it. Dr checked me for bladder infection too. I'd call your dr first and get checked out. For me she told me to Lie down on my side and drink lots if water. It does help
  • Thx ladies. I've been taking it easier today ( trying to take advantage of DH being home today) and the pressure has eased up.
