Michigan Moms-to-Be?

I'm curious...This is my first child and I'm the first of my group of friends to have kids, so I was wondering if there are any other Michiganders on this board. I just recently moved back to the Metro Detroit area so the husband and I haven't really formed many relationships outside of the family. It'd be nice to have to some other moms to be to talk to who are also going through the same thing.

    I am not but there are some local community broads on TB. They are usually pretty slow though.

    Unfortunately, I think the Detroit board is pretty quiet. I checked it out of curiosity the other day (I'm from Ann Arbor), but didn't see much going on.

    That said, I think there are a couple of MI moms here. I know @krysmill and @rhapsody11 are Michiganders. I don't live there anymore, but visit often.

    My only question is why do they have to be local to chat with them? We're all February 15 moms who are going through the same thing with you @writerinpink - that's the point of this board. I think its kinda interesting to find out regional / cultural differences and similarities with the other women on this board. :)

    Yes I'm a michigander! Yes the local board for Detroit is very quite. I never post on there cause no one responds. @mandamoochie‌ there are a lot of people that ask who lives in their state. People just like to know that there are other moms close to them. There is a thread that asked Where Do You Live. Check it out.

    Unfortunately, many of you are right. The Detroit board is pretty slow and not very active. Plus, I thought it'd be exciting to see who's due the same month in my area. At any rate, thanks for everyone who commented!

    rhapsody11 I'm currently in St. Clair Shores, but we're moving to Novi by the end of the summer because my commute time is over an hour to work and it's ridiculous.
