Yesterday I bought 20 pounds of canning tomatoes. I prepared them all and had them simmering in my stock pot to make sauce. They had been simmering for a couple of hours and then the fan above the stove stopped working. DH flipped the fuse and something popped and sparks/metal starting flying everywhere and right into my beautiful sauce. I just had to literally pour $25 down the drain. I actually cried, folks.
