Round Ligament Pain

Okay guys, please help put our minds at ease on this one.

I started having growing pains quite early (around week 13) and until now, it's always been movement aggravated and quite sharp.  The last couple days, I've been having a heavy dull ache in my belly that just wont go away.  It's worryingly a lot like the aches I get before my nastier periods but it does ease if I'm on my stomach.  I've read Ligament pain can be like this too but the sudden change in sensation accompanied by on and off lower back ache is troubling.

    I am 16 weeks and I've been having period like cramping on my right side as well as mid right side pain that wrapped around to my back. Doctor checked me out and said everything was fine. I started having ligament and stretching pains since about 12 weeks or so. I get them also up the middle of my belly from my belly button down to my lower belly. It's all normal I was told.

    UTI? If it gets worse just check with a doc but it can be normal to have cramping. You know what you think is normal and what is not

    Thanks guys, this has really helped.  It was starting to get to a point where my response to queries was 'some hours are better than others.'  I was thinking to put in a call to our MW later today but from what you say, it sounds like standard RLP. It can probably wait until when we go for our scan next Friday (20wks anomaly - gender time!!!)
