Hi there! I am 38 and just got a BFP last Tuesday. Looks like I'm due April 6th. I have children and experienced a loss in January 2014 so I'm cautiously optimistic this time around. Trying to relax and enjoy the moment.

I got results of my HCG level at 4 weeks 6 days. The level was 4145. Does that seem too high? I go for another bhcg test on Tuesday morning and I'm sure my Obgyn will scan me ASAP since I had an ectopic pregnancy years ago but just curious, any thoughts on my current levels?

    Mine was 4600 at 5 weeks... and from all my research, numbers swing quite variably from woman to woman.  So, I wouldn't worry. :)

    ME: 38, DH: 42, stopped BCPS 1/2013, TTC #1 2/2013, AMH 0.4, started acupuncture: 7/2013,
    BFP: 10/07/2013; MC 10/15/2013 @ 7 wks (natural), focused on health issues for 7 months.
    TTC again: 6/2014, 2nd round Letrozole, BFP 7/7/2014!!! --- EDD 3/18/2015!!!

    Congrats and welcome a great site to check numbers for hcg is betabase.com numbers aren't as important as doubling times though;) ...good luck!

    That sounds like a great number.  The true indicator will be if the next one goes up as it should based on how many days apart you've done the test.

    I've had ectopics too, and with all of them, my numbers were really low so I bet it's not an ectopic.
