With my first pregnancy almost five years ago, I had preeclampsia and it became a medical necessity to have a C-section. It was tough because I can't take pain killers (they make me throw up.... trust me I've tried them all, even liquids) so I was on my own after the epidural wore off. I'm really scared to go through that again now that I have a 4 year old to chase around. I would really rather have a vaginal birth this time around, but my doctor is insisting on a second C-section. Anyone have any advice?
Re: C-Section #2
A lot of people get sick from pain killers. Tell them that you get "motion sickness" (even if you don't) and they may give you an anti-emetic as a preventative.
