Babywearing mamas: great sale!

Hey mamas-- just wanted to share a sale I found tonight :)

Babywearing seriously saved my life and sanity with dd, so we are excited to babywearing with little girl number 2 as well. I mostly used a stretchy Boba wrap with her when she was little and a SSC (soft structured carrier- mostly a babyhawk mei tai and an Ergo) when she was older. I have been looking into getting a woven wrap (mostly because you can do more wrapping styles with them/ wrap for longer than just the first few months-- wovens can be used up to toddler years), and a friend in a local babywearing group told be about Abby's Lane.

My mom bought me my first woven wrap tonight from the website as a baby shower gift, and I am SO excited for it to come in the mail!

Wraps and SSC are on sale on the website right now. Shipping is free, and if you use the coupon code "savings" you get an extra $5 off! Happy shopping and babywearing :)

Attached is a pic of the one I bought-- yay!!

  • I've seen people wear well in to toddler years with the right wrap! DS is too energetic to be contained nowadays. :(

  • @moroccojade‌ that sounds beautiful!
  • I so far have a moby and an ergo. The ergo is mostly for DH. I can't wait to find a mei tai that I really love. I also want a woven wrap...

  • I also have a moby and ergo. I hated the moby with my son because of how hot it was. I'm hoping to get a lot of use with a November baby. I do need the newborn insert for my ergo.

I think I am going to need someone to come over and teach me how to use it...   ;)   The Ergo is so easy, this thing is about 10 feet long!

A friend if mine makes wraps and mei tai's and on her website or on her you tube pageshe has how to videos on how to use them. Google cosy baby happy mommy and her sites will come up. I am sure she has a video for woven wraps.

Thanks!    I will check it out.

I do wish she did house calls, though.

    Hmmmm.  A 13 hour drive?

Yeah.  That's too long.   Oh well, I will just have to work with the videos.  ;)
