Have you used a nanny background check service?

Has anyone used one? Can you recommend a service?

We really like a nanny we interviewed- she is great and I am pretty excited however paranoid and nervous so need to do the due diligence on her. I am googling stuff but love to hear any recommendations if anyone has gone through this already?

Also, any other tips of what I should be checking on? Asking her?  @armfruit any thoughts?

Thanks Ladies!

  • Thanks @psk‌ Yes I have spoken to her references which were all good. I just need to do a background check. I don't intend doing a contract just yet as we told her it's going to be a 3 month trail before we book her long term however I would love to see a copy of your contract just for my learning. I'll PM you when I get on my computer.

  • When. I provided child care. Part of my resume was my results from my background check with embossed stamp to prove it was authentic. I got a live scan at the police station and paid less then $20 for everything(10 years ago price). It also had a URL to send people too that showed the same results but from a .gov webcite.

  • Great! Thanks ladies. I found out the background check is very detailed on some sites including criminal checks which is the same as what the cops would do. It cost around $70-80 bucks so I am going to do it. I think I will use care.com as well.
