I'm going to do another Alva order and I want to get some bamboo as I'm getting rid of some MF. What do you think? Or is there a good brand to invest in?
I just use 1 and I think they work well. I have some Alva and some swaddlebees and there's not muchc difference. The Alva ones do tend to bunch up funny on the end (like the seams don't lie flat. It's hard to explain).
Mama to a little girl born July 2011 and a little boy born April 2014!
I have them, and I always use two, or 1+hemp, but that's usually more than he needs, but we mainly use pockets for when we are out, and he tends to go longer without a change when we are running around.
They are nice and trim but I found them flimsy and they bunch up, mostly before on the baby. So if I stuff them after laundry and then put them in the drawer or diaper bag, they are all bunched in the diaper when I try to use it.
None of mine bunch at all. I was going to ask if that was because most of mine are new, but then I remembered that I got them used so they aren't really new.
Re: Alva Bamboo yay or nay?
I have one that bunches weird due to an inside layer being wonky, but it's only one out of the twenty I bought.
Two bamboo inserts are as trim as one MF.
ETA one bamboo is equal to one MF in absorbency, I think.
