Dreaming: GTKY

With all of our charting, temping, group discussions, we have a lot of thoughts about pregnancy bouncing around our minds a good amount of the week.

Recently I have been having dreams about symptoms. In my dream I was at work, I pulled my top down to check out my nipples (completely professional) . I was in the 2WW period and my nipples were turning dark brown and huge bumps were covering them. I got so excited I left work right away to run home and take a test...... then I woke up. Thinking back now if my boobs end up really looking like that I'm going to have a heart attack, its funny, in the dream as dramatic as they looked I was still SO excited. I also had a spotting dream but it wasn't nearly as exciting as the nipple dream.

Have you had any pregnancy dreams? Which ones were the best?

When I dream about pregnancy it's mostly just me being pregnant, telling our friends and family and then our life as a family. I enjoy the ones about being a family the most. I dream about how my husband will be with kids and all the fun stuff we will do.

I have always had vivid dreams, so I love this topic.

My favorite pregnancy dream so far has to be when DH tried to get me to POAS. I refused because I was still WFO, but he was really curious to see how it was done. I kept telling him no because I didn't want to waste an HPT (at this point I only have a few FRERs laying around) and there was definitely no way I was pregnant. So sweet DH told me that if I wasn't going to take one, he was going to. As he unwrapped it I stormed out. End scene.

I really wish I would have hung around in my dream to see if he got a BFP. Maybe it would have turned into that episode of The Cosby Show where all the men got pregnant. I wonder what he would have given birth to...

I always have dreams about being pregnant with twins (everyone in my family says that FI and I will have twins because they run rampant on both sides).

Recently I had a dream about my water breaking, and then I woke up and immediately checked to make sure I didn't pee myself HA! Good news...I did not pee.

I rarely remember my dreams, except when I was PG with my DS and my dreams were so vivid. I often had dreams I was PG with twins, I was actually somewhat convinced my ultrasound would confirm it, but DS was a singleton!

I don't have pregnancy dreams but I did have a dream the other day where I had a nine year old girl and she was so cool and smart. We had a dog too but it was different than the dogs we have now. I like to think it was symbolic in some way. It was a nice dream.

Ha Ha Ha! Its such a weird feeling to not finish a dream like that. I feel like I'm always working towards something in my dreams, but I never get to the end.

While 20ish weeks pregnant with my son I had a dream that my water broke. I woke in a puddle and freaked out. All my thrashing about woke my husband and I all I could say is my water broke! He smelled it and said no it's pee.

) I felt ridiculous after that.

Recently, I had a dream I was nursing a sweet baby girl. Gave me the warm fuzzies.

Hahaha! I would have been so embarrassed. Good thing your water didn't break though

No pregnancy dreams, but I did dream that I woke up and took my temp the other day. I was all excited because my temp jumped and I was hopeful that I had finally O'd. It wasn't until about an hour after I actually woke up that I realized it was a dream and I never actually temped that day.

Early in this 2WW I dreamt that I was kidnapped by a RE and brought to Atlanta where he sedated me and impregnated me with twins via IVF.

I have no idea where that came from.

Since we've started TTC this time I've had a dream that I went into labor, delivered a 9 lb baby girl unmedicated, bent down and picked her up then walked up a flight of stairs to recovery. I also had a dream that I didn't know I was pregnant and delivered triplets while my mom and DH were out of town on a business trip (they don't work together so IDK where that came from).

My best friend and I found out that we were pregnant at the same time. I lost mine early on but she is still pregnant. Right after I lost the baby I had a dream that we were watching her three year old daughter drive a racecar. We were both holding babies in our arms, hers was wrapped in a blue blanket and mine in a pink one and we decided that she could teach her son to drive the racecar too because he was several months older but my baby would have to wait until next time because she was younger. It was so weird but I never actually saw any babies. That was about two months ago. I never had any other dreams about babies that was so clear. I thought maybe it was some kind of symbolic premonition but my friend is actually having a girl so now my dream of teaching infants to drive racecars can't come true!

I don't remember having any dreams about being pregnant, but I do have crazy vivid dreams, especially when pregnant. The kind of dreams where I'm irrationally pissed at my dh for hours after waking up for something he did in my dream. So fun.

The other night I had a dream that I took a Dollar Tree pregnancy test and it was positive. I told DH, my in-laws, and my parents, all of whom were ecstatic. Then I had a horrible thought and realized that since it was a cheap test, it actually read 2 lines when you weren't pregnant and 1 when you were. I realized that I had mistakenly informed many people of a false pregnancy. I woke up at the part when I was crying to H about how we were going to tell everyone it was a mistake. SO glad that was just a dream!!!

I recently had a nipple dream too! I dreamt that I grew a third nipple. I googled it (in my dream) and google said I was probably pregnant. I was like whhhhattttt, pregnancy causes new nipple growth?! Was pretty disturbing, but made me laugh.
