Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

i belong here...again... warning 3y/o in siggy

I went in for my ultrasound today and baby has no heartbeat and is smaller than it should be. Its eerily similar to my first pregnancy, even down to the date of the u/s. To top it all off my doctor hasn't called (my on sends us out for u/s). My guess is I'll have to choose between passing it naturally or a d&c. Last time I chose natural but I am considering a d&c if it means they will do testing. Mmc's only happen in 1% of pregnancies, how am I lucky enough to have 2? I wish none of us needed to be here.

  • @LauraO11‌ With your MMC, did you have a D&C? With my first I waited it out. Idk if I can do it this time.
  • I'm very sorry for your loss.  I'm a multiple loss lady as well- it's heartbreaking.  I often ask myself how I can have such "terrible luck" (as the doctor's seem to think it is) that I've had 3 losses in a row, no living children, and nothing coming back as wrong in the testing.  Big ((HUGS)).
