in Pregnant after a Loss
The cramps got worse. I came in. Good news and bad news. Good news baby is measuring 5w6d and has a heartrate of 159 (yay!). Bad news is I have a trace uti and SCH. I didn't ask where the SCH was. However I had one with my daughter too so I'm going to trust this baby will be okay as well. Pelvic rest and no exercise until I see my midwife.

    Thanks everyone. I'm definitely feeling relieved. The ER doc was great until he said there's a 50% chance I'll have a mc or a 50% chance I'll have the baby. It's like. I just saw a strong heartbeat. That's good news doc! I know an SCH is serious but 50%!?! That's a bit extreme.

    Good news, good HB! SCH can explain cramping. Glad they caught the UTI. (((Hugs))) Hope the midwife has more good news :-)

    If you go in with bleeding, they are going to mention mc is a possibility. It's a liability if they don't. The way I see it is that from the time of a bfp there is a 50% chance the pg will make it (it either will or it won't, right?)...so when they drop statistics like that it really doesn't change a thing. Certainly has no bearing on the outcome other than potentially stressing us out.
