Side Eye Saturday

Ahhh busy weekend! As has been my usual habit, this will be a post and run, but I will wander back this way after DS's birthday festivities calm down!

Theme this week: gentle side-eyes on the kids. What have the kiddos (yours or others') done recently that warranted a side-eye?

    DD has this thing with dumping out bins of toys when friends come over, I guess to show them what she has?  She doesn't really have an explanation.  We discuss this regularly.  This week we have a Fresh Air Child which has meant dumping of the toys every day.  Fingers crossed that tomorrow is different :).

    K has been deserving of a shitload of side eyes. He has conveniently forgotten every word in his vocabulary except NO. And his boogie-picking is at an extreme high, buying him a raging bloody nose one afternoon. But the most outstanding side eye came last night at the dinner table. He put his right foot up onto the table next to his plate. (He knows that is a no no) I said to him "put that foot down right now or you're going on time out." He puts it down. AND RAISES THE OTHER FOOT NICE AND SLOW HOVERING IT OVER THE TABLE WHILE WATCHING ME WITH A SHIT EATING GRIN. He says "this foot?"

    Fucker.

    BFP #3 5/30/13.  EDD 2/8/14...  6wk u/s HB 126. 8wk u/s lost HB. D&C 7/12/13.
    BFP #4 2/18/14.  EDD 10/30/14... Ruptured ectopic with L tube removed & D&C 3/7/14.
    BFP #5 7/27/14.  EDD 4/9/15...  m/c @ 5w4d.

    IVF #1    Oct 2014 - antagonist protocol: 9R, 7M, 5F. 3dt of 3 Grade 2 embies. BFN. 
    IVF #2    Jan 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.  Converted to IUI #1. BFFN
    IVF #2.1 March 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.

    BFP #6  (SUPRISE!) 3/19/15.  EDD 11/30/15...  CP at 4w2d.
    IUI #2:    Clomid + Follistim = 3 follies. BFN.
    IVF #2.2 May 2015 - horrible response to micro lupron flare protocol: 3R, 3M, 3F. 3dt of 2 Grade 3 embies. BFFN. 

    BFP #7 (beyond surprised again!) 4/26/16. EDD 1/5/17. beautiful betas!!!! and then near-fatal hemorrhagic corpus luteum. turns out baby was ectopic after all; another lap 5/6 (@24dpo).

    Laurel gets a very slight and gentle side eye for having a couple of potty accidents today. She's still learning but we've gotten to the point where we both know she needs to pee and she says she doesnt and  just ignores it because she's playing. I totally get that this is normal, and I'm not upset, but still. Potty training just blows in general, but overall she's actually doing great!
