I am totally freaking out. I am standing in line at Costco to get drinking water because the city of Toledo and surrounding areas are not allowed to drink or even touch our water. Oh and boiling makes it worse. Apparently, blue green algae in Lake Erie caused microcystins in the water..... This is my life, and pretty much every store in The Toledo area....
Anyone know anything about microcystins and being pregnant? I've felt movement since the last time I drank anything and I did research online, but haven't seen anything relating to pregnancy. I'm calling my Ob after I get my supply of water.
Doing ok today. Apparently I'm just going to solidly sleep for the first 3-3.5 hours and then dose until morning, but I'm not really tired so I guess I'll take it.
@swizz09 I have never heard such things. Hope you get some how soon. I find that when people here are rushing for hurricane supplies stores like whole foods and trader Joe's don't experience the same rush of crowds. People don't think about going there.
I'm ok today. My knee is still hurting and I didn't sleep a long as I wanted but i do have a massage in 2 1/2 hours!
I need to put back things in the kitchen since the painting of the cabinets is complete and clean my filthy house.
I am also hoping to have some time to veg out and rest my body. I have been swelling up lately.
I'm doing fairly well this morning considering the lack of sleep! I really miss STTN! I've been experiencing a lot of pain in my ribs too. My little nuggets are super active though, so that definitely makes up for it!
No real plans for the weekend other than working in the nursery & organizing all the great gifts from my baby shower last weekend!
@NavyFlyer happy shower day! @MrsL2B I've been thinking of you & continue to send T&P to you & your family!
Me: 37, DH: 42 Married March 22, 2003 TTC since early 2006, Fertility treatments since 02/2013 First Pregnancy with Twins EDD 10.24.2014
I am doing ok today! My husband and I are back in Cleveland area for our first baby shower! We didn't get in til after 11 last night and all that car time plus his not so comfortable childhood bed is giving me some major hip pain. Fun times!!!
Our weekend plans involve being showered with gifts for our baby girl! I am pretty excited!
@NavyFlyer hope you also have a great shower today!
I had a great night's sleep after a relaxing evening of watching Amelie and eating chocolate ice cream (Blue Bell, of course). I'm sorry to you ladies who are getting crappy sleep. I don't want to imagine combining 3rd tri low energy with lack of sleep. No no no.
This morning I pick up our kitty and also the Bountiful Basket I ordered. I'm splitting 18 pounds of cherries with a friend so my main goal today is to process all of those. Bake, freeze, or eat. Anyway want to share a favorite cherry recipe?
I'm doing ok. Finally kicked this stomach bug I had. DH is out of town for a bachelor party so I slept alone (well, with a pup) last night and got like 11 hours of sleep lol.
Do you have anything to brag or complain about? Not really. I am excited that today I'm 30 weeks. I feel like that is such a milestone!
What are your weekend plans? Since DH is out of town, my parents are driving in to help me pain the nursery. Everyone keeps asking me if it's going to make it "more real", but I just don't think it really will only after my baby shower (Aug 24th), when I have all his stuff actually laid out around the room.
@griffers. No, I haven't heard it affecting Cleveland. I know there are people from toledo heading your way to get bottled water. May not hurt to pick up a pack. I am just concerned with it being like listeria where pregnant people are more susceptible. Although I haven't seen anything about it. Apparently, we can bathe in it, but I'm not taking any chances.
Woke up EVERY 2 HOURS last night to go pee. Where does all that pee come from?? I also have a prenatal massage today and I can not wait! Tonight I'm taking 2 of my gf's out for girls night. I'm dd so there are excited. And I get to dance so I'm excited. I'm sure I will look ridiculous out there dancing with my bowling ball bump but who cares?
More work on the nursery this weekend. Plan to paint the fan blades, finish touching up my stencil job, start hanging the frames for the gallery wall, design some prints to go inside of them and, FINALLY, hang up the cute little letters to spell out her name. Phew! Can't wait to get it all done!
Since week 16 I have felt amazing. And today I've decided that the third trimester sucks. I feel like crap. Nothing catastrophic....just overall bad. This is better than the first tri, because I know now-only 12 weeks left!!!
What are your weekend plans? Spend lots of time with my hubs. Tonight I'm babysitting, and I'm getting pretty anxious about having kids (not too worried about having a newborn)- thank god I'm not giving birth to a 4 year old.

I'm exhausted this morning, but that's ok. I'm happy to be spending time with my family this weekend. Today we're taking it easy.
