I had my sweet little emma today at 3:34 pm. I went in yesterday for a simple ultrasound to check her growth and at the end of the ultrasound they told me i was going up to labor and delivery because i was showing signs for pre eclanpsia. I was induced around 7 pm and after a long labor (20 hours) little emma was born.
she weighs 3 lbs 7 ozs Apgar is 9 out of 9. She's 17 inches long. She's the tiniest little baby I've ever seen! She also had the cord wrapped around her neck twice which caused a lot of problems during the labor. It's a crazy labor story I'll link from my BMB later when I write it.
as for now I'm recovering in the anti partum high risk room. I'm on magnesiumand pitocin and little emma is in an incubator in the nicu.
I delivered at 36 weeks due to pre eclampsia and low growth (irgr i guess but the drs are calling it something else)
