Daycare bottle question for STMs

Hi! I'm researching what feels like my millionth possible wait list place and noticed something on gate FAQ page that struck me-

They request a clean bottle for each feeding. Question for STMs: is this pretty standard? I admit I don't really know how many bottles babies get while in daycare but I feel like I would need to roll in each day with a suitcase of bottles. I can't tell if I'm just cranky but this turns me off a bit!

Our daycare requires already prepared bottles. I would send 5 a day, DS would usually drink 3-4.
This was breastmilk, and daycare would keep the leftovers for the next day. At the end of the week, I'd freeze or save for next week the leftovers. Breastmilk is good for a week in the fridge. (Not sure how formula works, I think it's only good that day, someone else can chime in about that.)

Pretty standard. Our DC requires clean bottles for each feeding because they don't have the means to sanitize bottles...or the time to do it!

You wouldn't use dirty bottles at home, so why would you at dc? Or is it that you thought they would provide the actual bottles? Maybe that's what you meant?

We had 5-6 bottles and that wasn't enough for a day. I would have to wash sometime late afternoon/dinner time. Depending on what time you drop off and pick up. I would plan on a bottle every two hours. LO may go longer, but just in case.
