Back for another Foodie Friday. As we all inch closer to 2nd tri, I hope that most of us are past or at least close to getting over the rigors of morning (noon and night) sickness and getting our appetites back.
On to this week's Food Friday questions:
Any new cravings?
Any previous cravings that you're now over?
How strictly are you following the pregnancy "food rules" (re. lunch meat, hot dogs, sushi, rare meat)?
What's your favorite/favourite food of all time?

I love subs so I have been eating lunch meat. Everything else I dont really like anyway so ive been okay with that.
My all time favorite food is carbs!! I love breads pastas and potatoes of all kinds!!
The only pregnancy rules that actually affected my eating were lunch meat and unpasteurized cheese. I make panini's instead (thanks to the most random Christmas present ever) and buy my cheeses pasteurized.
My favorite is the food that is close, edible and looks appetizing at the time.
Any old cravings that are gone? Not really. I was craving cookies and cream ice cream so I had some but I don't crave it anymore. That's the only thing I can think of.
Strictness on rules? I have had a few hot dogs and a coffee here and there but those are the only "broken rules." I tend to be on the cautious side bc of a previous loss. I don't eat any seafood or lunch meat anyway so I'm ok there. I usually eat med-rare steak which I'd probably do medium now but I haven't had steak since BFP so it doesn't matter.
Favorite food of all time? This is tough! I love fried chicken w honey drizzled on it or Mac & Cheese topped w BBQ pulled pork!
I don't follow the rules. I'm an intelligent person and I believe that a little common sense will take you a long way. I had sushi for lunch yesterday and I'll be damned if I ever eat a steak well done. That's just nasty!
I don't have a favorite food. I just love food.
I don't have real cravings, more of a continuation of what I've always liked pre pregnancy.
I still eat deli meat, it's fine according to the papers my OB gave me as long as I nuked them in the microwave before eating. I have a strong aversion to meat, esp hotdogs and all its cookout buddies.
My weaknesses are any shapes of deep fried potatoes and bagels (esp those loaded with cheese and jalapeno toppings) with cream cheese. -- my inner fattie hearts.
Cravings I'm over: I was craving pizza, but now that is just repulsive. I can't imagine ever eating pizza again. Also, I really wanted peach cobbler last week, so I made one and after one piece, I can barely look at it. It was delicious, but I refuse to eat it.
I am pretty good about following the rules of pregnancy diet. I'll have the occasional hot dog or deli sandwich. My OB is very anti-fast food, so I try to stay away from that too.
My all time favorite food: Steak and fried potatoes! I also love tollhouse chocolate chip cookies and shortbread cookie dough.
