Cerclage tomorrow

My hubby and I are expecting a little boy on Jan 31. Yesterday at my 13 week appointment the doctor said I needed to get a cerclage. So I am Headed for surgery at 10 am and terrified. Please send prayers and thoughts my way.

    T&Ps for you! I've heard the cerclage surgery can be rough, but losing your baby is the alternative so I'm very glad they caught that you need it! Hope you get pampered over the next few days.

    good luck! My friend has had one twice and she was able to carry her babies to term thanks to that. Hope it goes as well for you!

    Surgery is at 12ish today so I'm up and wishing I could eat or drink something. I'm in my last semester of nursing school so she feels like this is the only way to avoid bed rest and me having to drop out. Just worried.

    I had a cerclage placed on June 24th. I had no bleeding and baby did great! I know it's scary but going it's well worth it! Good luck!

    I'm glad you're getting it. My friend recently lost her baby at 18 weeks because she didn't have one. Her Dr kept talking about it, but never acted...

    DS #1 - born 11.6.08
    DS #2 - born 2.10.12

    Cameron Jacob (CJ) came early @ 25w4d on November 16, 2012 due to placenta abruption and incompetent cervix . Weighing 1lb 15.5oz, 14 inches long.
