Question for those who did EPP

I wish I didn't worry about everything, but it's in my nature a little. Anyway, my last LH surge we know I didn't ovulate because of a follie scan I had the day before the surge and it appeared my ovaries were "resting". Well, I would suspect to have had AF arrive this weekend, based off the timing of my LH surge. She is nowhere in sight. Should I be worried? I will email my NP tomorrow, but hope that someone can ease my fears of this cycle a little bit. My baseline u/s is not scheduled until Aug 14th, everything I've read is that with EPP AF will arrive on its own, I'm worried mine won't and I may need some progesterone to kick things off. Did anyone else have issues with AF not arriving when Estrogen priming?

Aww, man, that's stressful! I'm sorry!! AF was a little late when I did estrogen priming for IVF #2. I hope your nurse is able to explain for you!

She didn't get back to me today. This is the one thing I dislike about my clinic. My NP takes her time responding to emails.

She called me back. She said it's not a big deal if AF does not arrive as long as my lining is thin at baseline. I will try not to worry. I hate that this process causes me so much anxiety!! She is also calling in my med order. I hope it's not super expensive, as we are adding neupogen wash, intralipids and heparin this time. The NP is clarifying a few things with my RE in regard to the meds since we are embryo banking. I hope this works out.

Aug. 14th. I have made an apt with my acupuncturist in hopes of inducing menses. I would hate to be postponed because my lining is too thick!

Seems like you do not need the neupogen, intralipids and heparin until you do a transfer? I believe that I had the neupogen wash on ER day (Fresh transfer) and intralipids started right before transfer and lovenox (rather than heparin) right after + beta. I hope your insurance might help? In my case they covered lovenox and intralipids. ((hugs)) and prayers that everything progresses smoothly.

I'm going to have to discuss the details with Dr. G., the NP indicated that if my embryos from the first cycle look good they may transfer instead of bank. What insurance do you have Zazu? Select Med?

@mm29‌ no, I have BCBS insurance. They covered my infusions 80% and lovenox was cheap.
