This is really just more of a 'freak out' thread than anything, but currently they're retesting my urine because my midwife thinks that I have a possible infection.
Is this common and how is it treated? I'd ask myself but no one has answered or returned my call SO...here I am lol.
Re: Infection?
With an infection, you will likely be given an antibiotic. It may be oral antibiotics or an IV drip depending on the type of infection.
I hope all is well! T&P! Keep us updated!
Not knowing what kind of infection, it is hard to know the treatment. Bacterial infections are treated with antibiotics, many of which are safe in pregnancy. Viral infections can be trickier.

Well...great question...I don't know either I guess haha. When I spoke with her she just said "You're urine looks a little funky and we need to test it for infection" SO...that's all I have. Good to know that for the most part it's easily treated
