MN for Geogriana

DH and I were set on Violet as a MN for Georgiana but I just can't get 100% there. I do like it, but it's just not as "perfect" as DD#1's name (Jacqueline Iris). When we named DD#1 I knew immediately that the name combo was exactly right but with this one I just don't feel the same way. I keep wanting to love it but I just don't

We were thinking of trying to keep the flower/plant/tree MN going but I'm not sure it's right. Elizabeth is a family name (my MN, MIL's MN, favorite aunt's FN) that DH said we could use as a MN but I keep thinking it's too long - our last name is another 7 letters. What do you think?

I think because Georgiana is a longer name (BEAUTIFUL, by the way), it would benefit from a short, one-syllable middle name like Sage, Pearl, Kate, or Lane.

What's the last initial? When you have GE- or GI- you could start spelling problematic things.

I voted for Georgiana Ivy! I agree that Georgiana Elizabeth is a little long.

bromios - thank you! I really like Fleur; not sure DH would go for it, but I'm definitely going to ask. I do have a really stupid question, though - how do you pronounce it? Like "floor"?

Joy2611 - good point on Willow - I hadn't thought of that but I agree. Thanks!

duckie23 - that was my thought, too. Kate might work very well; I'll run it by DH. Thanks!

pblge - it's "S" so the only one I've completely ruled out is an "A" MN, b/c it would bother me. Otherwise I can't think of a G_S combo that would be too horrible to use if I loved the name.

pavlovcat - thanks! I like Sage and Hazel but don't see them really going w/Georgiana for some reason. I don't know why, though!

dancingmatilda - seeing Mae made me think of one of my first choices, which was Maeve (or my preferred spelling, Meabh)). I think I'll run it by DH again as a MN and see what he says. Thanks!

HisGirlFriday929 - I wish Violet could solidify for me but it just won't. Maybe once she gets here it will, but I want to have options

I do love Sage but I just can't commit, much like Violet. And I LOVE Lily but DH won't go for it, unfortunately. I might fight for it, though. It feels "right" much like Iris did for Jacqueline. We'll see. Thanks!

I voted for Georgiana Violet, but I also like Georgiana Elizabeth (I had both combos on my long list.)

I don't think one can have too many syllables in a name.

I love Georgiana Violet. I think Fern or Lily also work well in the MN spot. Georgiana Ivy doesn't flow as well IMO. I kind of like Willow with it. I think Georgiana Elizabeth is a mouthful.
