It's just too much. (Loss mentioned. Not mine)

This week has been so trying here with all of the losses. Emotionally, it has been hard because I'm still carrying my loss, so it has forced me to deal with that, which isn't a bad thing really.

However, my DH just told me that a player from my son's baseball team died this morning. He was a 9 year old little boy. I'm not sure there are enough hugs in the world that I can give my son right now. The boy was a pitcher and my son was his catcher, so they had a special bond. My husband, who has never cried in front of me, lost it. It's just too much.

Please, even though you don't know the family, if you have any prayers or thoughts left, can you give them some, as well as the young boys who are all learning that they lost a teammate. I don't really know how a little boy processes these kinds of things. My heart is just breaking for this family, including the boy's two brothers.

Thank you ladies. My DH spent 1 1/2 hours doing CPR on him, so he's a mess himself. We live in a very small town, so word travels quickly. DS is handling it better than my DH, but he is still processing it I'm sure.

They do. He had epilepsy and had a seizure. His mom was going in to wake him up this morning so he could take his meds. He was already seizing when she went in. I just can't imagine how the mother feels. I'm sure she is playing the "what if" I went in earlier game and that is just heart breaking.
