I have to go in for a heart monitor test today bleh. I also have a huge paper due tonight for class that I should probably finish instead of bumping...
I use allrecipes.com religiously. I never have found a bad recipe on that site. I love that people comment on how to do it easier/troubleshoot it too for us people who can't cook
I'm feeling better this morning than I felt yesterday (I was a little dehydrated from air travel and having diarrhea all day). I'm spending the weekend with my family, which is nice.
My favorite cookbooks are those by America's Test Kitchen, although we use a variety of cookbooks and online sources for recipes. Usually we look at a few recipes and combine them to make our ultimate recipe.
I am doing surprisingly well this morning for going on 15 hours of fasting. I am sitting at my 3 hour glucose test. The first hour was the worst but it is getting better for the second.
My go to cookbook is pinterest. I love to cook and bake but I find that I can't settle on a book I like other than the one of grammas recipes (that I have memorized). Pinterest and Allrecipes.com have some great creative food ideas.
How are you doing today? Do you have anything to rant or rave about? Didn't sleep well last night but otherwise feeling pretty good.
For those of you who love to cook, do you have a favorite cookbook? If you're not a cook, what's your go-to dinner source? I like to cook but typically just use the Internet for recipes. I have about 8 different Pinterest boards filled with different types of recipes.
How are you doing today? Do you have anything to rant or rave about? I am feeling good. Only woke up once at 2:30 again this morning, after peeing and a quick chocolate fix, I went right back to sleep. Tonight I am going to see if one of the bff's wants to come over so we can put Nemo's clothes away! EEEK!
For those of you who love to cook, do you have a favorite cookbook? If you're not a cook, what's your go-to dinner source? I do not love to cook. I like things that are easy and quick and don't involve a whole lot of ingredients. I am a huge fan of "tastefully simple" products for that reason. Oh and I love crockpot cooking.

Last night was ridiculous. I am still having contractions and had a few painful ones. Nothing I thought I needed call the Dr. about as they weren't more than 4 in an hour. Between the backaches, cramping in my butt (yeah butt cramps) contractions and baby kicks, I didn't sleep very well. It was painful to move or find a comfortable position. We are having a garage sale this weekend and I am hoping I can make it through the weekend!!
On a positive note, the Wisconsin Fair starts today and I am so excited for that and of course the famous cream puffs! I really want to go this weekend, but don't know that I will have energy after our garage sale.
For those of you who love to cook, do you have a favorite cookbook? If you're not a cook, what's your go-to dinner source?
No cookbooks for me. I go straight to pinterest or Allrecipes.com. I love Allrecipes because you can view recipes by rating and I have found some great ones there! I love to cook, even though I don't have energy to do anything complicated or fancy these days.
How are you doing today? Do you have anything to rant or rave about? Pretty good. Due to the wonders of unisom, I was able to sleep decently last night with only waking up twice.
For those of you who love to cook, do you have a favorite cookbook? If you're not a cook, what's your go-to dinner source? I have a small bookcase filled with various cookbooks of all varieties. I also love America's Test Kitchen recipes and Southern Living recipes.

@MrsTinMKE - I hope you feel a lot better today & sleep better tonight!
How are you doing today? I am doing well although the last few nights have been pretty restless for me. I'm usually a good sleeper and never had sleeping problems when pregnant with DS but I think it's different this time. I hope this doesn't last the rest of pregnancy or I'll already be exhausted by the time baby is born.
Favorite cookbook? Pinterest!

I'm feeling good. Overwhelmed at work, but excited for my shower this Saturday!! Still freaking out about D-Day getting so close.
I live off of paleodietlifestyle.com Even if you don't eat Paleo it's just good, healthy, low carb clean eating! Lots of easy crock pot style meals too.

Feeling weird today. Woke up in a great mood and feeling good. Came to work, started to eat breakfast and apparently LO just wasn't having it, had to make a run to the bathroom. 3rd trimester morning sickness maybe? I feel okay now, just afraid to eat!
For those of you who love to cook, do you have a favorite cookbook? If you're not a cook, what's your go-to dinner source?
I loved to cook, but now I'm just too lazy. Pintrest and foodnetwork.com are my go to's when I'm up and running.
How are you doing today? Do you have anything to rant or rave about? Heartburn. That is all. Ow!!! DH went out at 11PM last night to pick me up some Tums after I couldn't fall asleep because of the uncomfortable pain. But in other news, had a great (albeit quick) prenatal appointment yesterday! Heart beat is great, baby's measuring right on track, and blood work looks great!

How are you doing today? Do you have anything to rant or rave about? I'm feeling better today after my sugar OD from yesterday. I'm kind of looking forward to the baby class on Saturday. DH has not been around many babies so I'm pretty curious to see how it goes for him. For those of you who love to cook, do you have a favorite cookbook? If you're not a cook, what's your go-to dinner source?
My go to is Food Network. I also love the better homes and garden's cookbook. My mom has one that belonged to my grandmother and I bake a lot out of that.
I've been noticing a lot of cramping/BH/slightly painful baby stretches when I'm standing or walking for a while. I vacuumed the floors last night and was completely out of breath and getting little pains all over my abdomen.
I've been using a lot of Cooking Light recipes lately, but Pinterest and All Recipes are go-tos when we need ideas. We usually just throw stuff together, though.

How are you doing today? Do you have anything to rant or rave about? Feeling a lot better than I had recently. I'm nesting in my head, but am not physically motivated to really dig into a few projects that I really want to get done asap.
I contract and my most recent contract just ended. I've had some good interviews, but no offers yet (most are moving into final interviews next week). I'm really, really ready to be done looking this time around and am dying to get some good news vs another thanks, but no thanks.

Feeling pretty good. Enjoyed a good American Ninja Baby show last night! DH is still freaked out about being able to see all the movement! Also got my kitchen re-organized (it's been bugging me for a couple of months) and had some ahmazing sex.
Cooking ... depends on my mood. I feel really boring now and am cooking a lot of my go-tos right now. If I am looking for a new recipe, I use Pinterest, Allrecipes and some of the cookbooks I already have.
Jealous! I would settle for any kind at this point! lol ehhh my sex life sucks right now lol

I have a ton of cookbooks, although these days the majority of my recipes are stored on Pinterest board. That said, here are some of my favs:
- Long Nights & Log Fires - I'm a fall/winter girl, so this book offers some delicious (and visually gorgeous) recipes
- The Professional Cookbook (CIA) - A staple and reference bible!
- Super Natural Cooking - From 101 Cookbooks blog author, Heidi Swanson
- Risotto - Because I can make and eat risotto probably every single day.
I'm feeling better today after my sugar OD from yesterday. I'm kind of looking forward to the baby class on Saturday. DH has not been around many babies so I'm pretty curious to see how it goes for him.
