My 14 month old is the worste sleeper...we used to cosleep and he transitioned to his crib with little to no problem but then he started teething again! Now the past 4 months he is back in my bed and wakes up whenever he's placed in his crib. So I took a side off of his crib and pushed it up against my bed and he actually sleeps in it. But I want him to finally be in a bed and sleeping at night...PROBLEM: we live in a apartment and I can not let him cry it out! Please send some advice my way! (DH and I are trying for number 2 and I would like it to go smoothly)
Re: 14 month old with sleep problems HELP!
If he's sleeping well in the crib beside your bed the next step would be to put the side back on that crib but keep it pushed up to your bed still. Then slowly move your bed away from his.
Ideally this would be done in HIS room so you can slowly move yourself out of his room. Is there room in his bedroom to add a bed for you? then do the sideless crib for a bit then with the bars, then move your bed across room then just go sleep in your room.
