I thought you were only supposed to boil the pacifiers before the first use and then occassionally after that and then wash them with soap and water when they are dirty (so multiple times a day in our case)...anyway, I was just told that they are supposed to be "boiled" (or run through the dishwasher) every time they are dirty. Does anyone know?

I just wash them in the dishwasher once a day. I guess it depends on your definition of dirty. For us, if it falls on the floor, it's done for the day, if it falls out of her mouth and lands on her clothes, blankets, etc, or if she stops using it and we set it aside, we just do a quick rinse before using it again.
