Well things have been going great. It has almost been 3 months since we got this sweet boy! It is amazing how far he has come. When he came to us he could barely sit up by himself and had never had tummy time at 8 months old. The back of his head was completely flat and he had never had baby food.
Flash forward three months and he is crawling like a champ! Lots of baby chatter and eats like a horse! Sleeps thru the night. His head is rounding up nicely and he will see a ped neurologist this tue for some little tremor issues.
As for the mom and dad situation they are now visiting every wed. With all the other five older siblings. Mom didn't show to the court hearing this last tue and dad is in drug treatment. Sooo... Judge says we have six months till we terminate parental rights if the parents don't seem fit by that hearing jan 20th 2015 he will be up for adoption for us!! Fingers crossed!
Well we had out pediatric neurologist appt today and great news is the tremors are not seizure related and his MRI and EEG came back completely normal!! Could just be a coping mechanism for the neglect he had for so long! Kind of a wait and see how his progress is as he ages!! So happy for this great news!
