Welcome to Ladies In Waiting. This is a group designed for all the ladies in the various stages of waiting after a loss: waiting to miscarry, waiting for AF to arrive, waiting to TTC again, and waiting for a BFP. Since this process is such a true test in patience, it is nice to have the support and friendship of other women going through similar experiences and emotions.

-Check in is every Wednesday- New members: Post an intro and your current TTC status. - Current members: Post updates, link to your chart, upcoming appointments, prayer requests. - Weekly check-in's will include an inspirational quote.

Please do not worry if your name is not on the check in, I only put those that participated in the previous check in. Please make sure that if you get a BFP to PM me. I try to check PGAL, but sometimes I may miss it.

Hi, I wanted to intro myself. Most of my story is in my siggy below. DH and I are currently TTC. I am not currently charting. We are just going with the flow and seeing what happens. Our loss was our only pg and we don't know why we lost the baby. As for now we have no reason to think there is any fert problem so we're back to just DTD and hoping for the best. I have had one AF since my natural m/c and I am waiting on the next. I am 99% sure I ovulated last month based on symptoms alone (didn't test or chart, so I'm basing this off physical symptoms)

Since I still am unsure if I will go back to having regular cycles, I'm not sure when to expect AF. If my body is back on schedule, that would mean I should expect it Aug. 3 or close to that.

So all that to say, I'm waiting on a lot. Waiting to test, waiting on AF and waiting for DH and I's one year anniversary trip to Florida!!!! This has been one heck of a month and I am just ready for some QT with my hubs!

Amybunny30 I have to call my RE's office when I'm on CD1 and then they will schedule the surgery within a few days of that. I'm really eager to put this all behind me and move on.

LOL about your DH. We used the pull-out method, too, when we were TTA.

@BookishMomma‌ thanks for checking in. I hope you can get your surgery scheduled soon! @CreechMommy‌ lots going on. Vacation sounds like a nice distraction. AFM, waiting on AF to drop in and undoubtedly put a damper on my beach vacation. But that's ok- I'd rather have it sooner than later. I think we will TTC next cycle. I keep saying I want to but I need to make sure I'm ready to accept whatever may happen.

@AmyBunny30 We leave Aug 9 and will be gone until the 14th. A little sun and sand has always been great therapy for me. @mplemont Hope you enjoy your vacay too!

@BookishMomma‌ thanks for the check-in---I am still waiting, I am 12DPO and no signs of AF but yesterday I POAS and got a BFN, so I assume she is just waiting for the weekend, while we are in Napa to drop in and visit, I have told myself I am waiting to POAS again until Friday, which will be 14DPO (this is an incredible feat for me since I am normally a 24-25 day cycler and today is day 25). I hate this post loss guessing game.

@Amybunny30‌ I LOL'd at the pull out method, that is something my DH would do

@mpiemont‌ I am hoping AF comes soon, the waiting for her sucks.

Hello all! I am waiting to TTC again and have just stumbled upon this post. Typically I lurk and just post on the November check-in but I am trying to be more proactive.

I had a D&C in April after a MMC and have had two long cycles since. My doc's reco was to try again after 1 normal cycle so I'm still waiting. Hoping AF shows up soon and has her shit together this time around.

@creechmommy Welcome! Sorry you find yourself having to join us! Hope you get your BFP without too long of a wait! I'm a huge fan of vacations, especially when celebrating such a great occasion!! Hope time goes fast and it's here before you know it!

@LDubHawksFan‌ Big Hugs!! I hope with the D&C being over you can start to really heal both physically and emotionally! Those darn hormones tend to linger a while, but I promise with time and being able to focus on other things it gets a little easier (my D&C was Apr 8).

@mpiemont‌ isn't it crazy how easy it is to accept the mindset that AF can make an appearance as it pleases at this stage in our journey when we know soon enough we will be praying she doesn't show her ugly face!! If it's half as bad as my post MC AF I hope it appears towards the end of vacation as mine have been total byotches! Hopefully you and DH can have great conversations and make a decision of when your both ready soon.

@Lalalady54‌ everything is crossed that this is your month!! I was always a 31 days cycle but even when we were pregnant with the triplets I was getting negative tests up until CD30!! Definitely test again 14DPO. Hope AF doesn't show!!

@ashtog our wedding photos were definitely the best investment from our entire wedding! I envy you for your awesome profession, what a great gift to give people! Their cherished memories. Hope "O" makes an appearance soon and in a noticeable manner! Good Luck!!

Today is CD3 for me! After flow showed with a vengeance on Monday and I ended up super sick through Tuesday morning. Now I'm just dealing with a pretty heavy flow but cramping is finally simmering down. No question period 2 post D&C was worse then my first one! We start clomid on Friday..Woo Hoo! We leave for Vegas next Wednesday through Sunday and we are back just in time for a RE visit to check my clomid progress (Mon Aug 11th which is CD15). If ovulation is as it was on clomid on the past I should be set to ovulate the week after Vegas (good news is it will take the stress of TTC on vacation away) since I don't anticipate ovulating until my semi-normal CD17-cd19 range.

@Amybunny30‌ this is 2nd cycle, had D&C on 6/13, first AF July 6, (24 days after D&C, which is my norm) and now should be having AF (this is CD25)

(I did O on CD13 this month though which I normally O on CD12-- so maybe that's the difference?)

I'm not really sure how I'm feeling. My EDD is tomorrow, and I feel like everyone has forgotten except me. I don't know what I expected. I never remember when people are due so why would they remember my due date for a baby that's no longer here. I'll be going to the gym tomorrow and taking out my emotions on the equipment.

@Buttercup509 So sorry for your loss and your upcoming EDD. I haven't gotten to mine yet, so I don't know what to expect either. But I can relate to what you're saying about ppl forgetting. I have that same fear too.
Sounds like you have a pretty good plan for tomorrow and I hope it helps you cope. ((hugs)) to you.

Currently in the 2WW but I've been super busy so it's not been unbearable. I've been hanging with my sister and cousin who is in from out of town and we've been busy everyday; it's been nice!

@buttercup509 - Sorry for what you're going through right now. I can't imagine what that feels like right now. Sending hugs to you!

@Buttercup509 We have the same idea of how to get out our frustrations! We would have been induced no later then Aug 30th so on that day DH and I are planting a memory garden in honor of our babies. We already purchased the boxed garden for our veranda and the soil and will go together on the 20th and purchase the flowers. I am ordering a memory rock to add to the garden. This was my best way to create the memory of our girls to share with everyone who visits. Big Hugs!!

Hello ladies! I'm new here. :-h I'm currently 2 weeks post-D&C after a missed miscarriage and I am waiting for AF to arrive. DH and I were trying to conceive baby #2 - our son is 3.5 years old. I'm still spotting a bit from the D&C so who knows how long I'll be waiting for AF. I have my follow up appointment with my OB on Monday and I'm not sure what that will involve. I plan to talk to her about how long I should wait before TTC again. She mentioned earlier that she recommends waiting two cycles but then said "but if it is one, it's one, but definitely wait until you have at least one period." I'm not supposed to have sex right now anyways.

So that's my story. I'm waiting on my doctor's appointment, waiting for AF, and waiting to be allowed to have sex again. Hugs to the rest of you who are playing the waiting game as well.

Follow-up tomorrow morning so I get the doctor's final word on how many cycles to wait for TTC as I think it's changed since I had to do the D&C after the cytotec failed. Really interested to know what they say about the fact that I'm still bleeding considering that will reach the 6 week mark on Saturday.

@Amybunny30 - My DH said the same thing! Don't you love it when they do that.

@LittleDucky Welcome! My D&C was April 8th and I had a pretty steady AF for fourteen days and continued having spotting for an additional couple of weeks! From what my RE told me it was healthy as everything that was scraped out is flushing out and it actually encourages your hormone levels to drop quicker. My levels dropped really nicely while I was having bleeds and spotting but once the spotting dropped off the beta level he** began and it seemed in my eyes to drag on. Hope your levels drop quick and you can begin the next stage! Big Hugs!!

@Ashtog While in Vegas I will definitely do some shopping, we will pick a show a night to go too, and I will eat whatever I want totally guilt free at my favorite bistros (Holsteins is fabulous and has the best alcohol induced milkshakes)!!
Yes! Come September after we've completed the Garden and done our memorial there I will happily share it, along with the memories of our girls. Thanks for asking!

Yes, we go to Vegas every few months

my DH joined Cesar properties several years ago and I'm embarrassed to say he loves to play the horses and place sports bets and Vegas begs us to visit as often as DH can convince me to make the trip. We get comped rooms and I get to go shopping over the holidays with his points. It's a $100 flight or seven hour drive so it's almost too easy for us to use as a getaway!

@ashtog‌ I want to be testing 6 times a day!!! I couldn't wait and tested again this AM, another BFN (that was at 245am, of course) then at 6 when I woke up and took my bbt it was down from 98.1 to 97.6, still over my cover line but a significant drop, we shall see what tomorrow brings, if I'm not bleeding by Saturday I might cry, because a BFN but no AF means I probably shouldn't be guzzling wine while in Napa this weekend, hurry up AF if you must insist on coming just show the F up, already

@ashtog‌ - Wow, you are amazing commenting to everyone! @DenaMaree‌ - FF says to test on the 12th of August but I def can't wait that long. I'm going to try to hold out for a bit but we'll see how that goes. What do,you think the earliest you can test is? Tomorrow will be only 8 DPO. P.S.- I would love to see a pic,of that memorial garden as well if you didn't mind. Sounds like a great way to commemorate your girls.
