I read the ENTIRE instruction booklet front to back, but I need some advice from people who use the monitor. I know the instructions say over and over that if you start your period after the time when you would set the monitor to wait until the next day and set it for CD1. However, I'm not sure if I should do this considering that my chart is set for TODAY to be CD1. I don't want to get confused with my chart saying one thing and the CBEFM saying another. What do you all do in this situation?
Re: my last CBEFM question...I promise.
If you want to keep them the same, simply set it at the time that you want to be able to test each morning and set it for CD2, if today is CD1 for you. I believe the monitor says something about if you start after 5pm, to count the following day as CD1. If you did start after 5pm and you still want to set it for CD2 tomorrow then that is fine! It will not mess up how your CBEFM works. The only thing it may do is ask you for a test stick a day earlier than it normally would. That's it!
Just let me know if you have any other questions about it- I don't mind!
thanks! I started this morning at like 9am which would be a perfect time to set it, but I was a 100 miles from home without the monitor! i think i'll set tomorrow at CD2. Am I correct in my understanding that if I set it at 9am that I can test anywhere from 6am-12pm?
Thanks so much!!
Yes, it is 3hrs before the time you set it and 3hrs after. So 9am would give you from 6-12 correct! I LOVE that feature of this thing!
You also have up until CD5 to set it too. All you will need to do is hold down the m button until it is reading CD2, it is really super easy to do and it won't go so fast that you will fly by it either. I was worried about it doing that! lol.
