Ok I really love the name Asher for a boy, it's biblical, but what do you guys think? I don't want him to get made fun of, but both my DH and I love it. We are thinking about Asher Scott, Scott is my husband's middle name and FIL's name.
Love it. What's the teasing potential? I guess you could stretch it to something involving a s s, but it's a stretch. No name is tease-proof and Asher is lovely.
I love love love Asher. DH vetoed it but I suggested it to one of my best friends and now I have a beautiful little nephew named Asher (I was so jazzed they picked the name I suggested!)
Asher Scott sounds pretty cool to me.

It's NMS but I don't see much potential for teasing. Maybe if he were born 20 years ago. I've met at least 3 different Ashers at various toddler activities.
Not a fan of Asher (it's a last name in my family), but I certainly wouldn't side eye it. I feel it's getting really popular though. My sitter has two Asher's under 15 months.
