My house is breaking!

In the last month our oven and garbage disposal have broken. OK - doable.
But, now water is pouring out of the ceiling in our garage! We are waiting for the emergency water fixers to come right now (based on the recommendation of our insurance). Of course I'm imagining mold and exploding pipes. Of course this happens the month DH doesn't get a paycheck! (His school pays his salary over 11 months instead of 12.)
I hope to create a real siggy but first I need some sleep!

    Oh no! I hope it's not too difficult or expensive to fix!

    Two very sweaty (not in a good way) men are currently cutting holes in my garage ceiling so water can drain out. A plumber is in route to fix a broken pipe. I think we caught it pretty soon and we may escape a mold outbreak. FX!

    Oh man! I'm sorry. I can totally relate. In the last week our dishwasher broke, washing machine leaked water, and now our AC is out! Super frustrating.

    Hope everything is fixed soon. Hugs.

    Update, a leak was found and 6' of pipe was replaced. A huge portion of drywall was ripped out and we have dehumidifier and fans going in the garage. They think the leak went for a couple days which is way better than other stories I've heard.

    Looks like a home owners claim for sure. So glad we called them and they sent the emergency crew. The other company we called first couldn't come until tomorrow. Who knows how bad the damage would have been by then, even with turning off the water.

    Homeownership is stressful. Glad it wasn't a nightmare issue.
