FT Nanny Cost Estimate

Know there are obviously a lot of variables, but curious what you all would estimate for full time nanny costs in the Chicago-land area.  Wide ranges are fine, just looking for an idea.  Here are a few specifics if helpful.  Thanks!

[] 3 kids - one in school so would only need after-school care; one in preschool (1/2 day, 3 days/week - would need to pick-up & drop-off); one infant
[] 40-50 hours/week
[] Located in Oak Park
[] Ideally would like help with light housework, meal prep, etc.

I was a nanny in the city and the suburbs a few years ago.

I charged 15/hour in the city and 14/hour in the suburbs.

I am in that area and we started ours at 13 an hour (she now makes 15).  message me if you have any specific questions!

We pay our nanny $13 an hour, one child, on the books. Paying taxes adds a lot for us, but is worth the peace of mind.
