New EDD

I had my US today. Gestational sac is in the right place and OB was able to see what he thinks is the fetal pole. He measured me at 5 weeks and 3 days, which bumps my EDD up to March 29

Looks like I may have to switch groups. I really liked my April 2 EDD so I may just hang out until my next US scheduled for 8/18.

My mom and cousin's birthdays are both March 29--it's a great day ;-)

I was actually saying to H that maybe our baby will be born a bit early as a birthday present for my mom.

I couldn't stand getting texts from friends the week leading up to my due date with DD saying things like "baby yet?!" And "when is she going to be born??" As if I would keep her birth a secret or knew when she would be born. So if I were you, I probably wouldn't tell anyone except DH that my due date was bumped up

I actually have no clue when I conceived because of my IUD removal on July 3 and BFP on the 25th, but I called a nurses station and they said I am probably due the end of march too. I decided to stick around because it so close, I like our group, and won't know anything for certain until the end of August anyway

I agree with @Jerry77‌ , a due date is just a number. My first baby was due June 14, and he didn't make his arrival until June 21. If your LO is late with that due date, you may still have an April baby. Maybe I'm wrong, but I say your EDD is so close, hang out with whichever BMB you're comfortable with. No one is going to force you to switch boards. Congrats on a successful ultrasound though!

Most first time moms are overdue. I wish that was the case for me. My DD showed up at 35 weeks! Quite the surprise!
