I need your help. We had our 20 week scan and everything was perfect. We need to go back in a month for a few images and reconfirm gender. There was a lot of cord down there. We got our answer but of course I want to see what you think. Leave your comments below! TIA!! I'll share in a bit what the tech said.

If your OB or tech couldn't tell you, neither can we. Also, you entire name is on the u/s pic, as is your child's genitals. I'd take this down if I were you.

Unfortunately we're not u/s techs and guessing the SEX of someone else's baby isn't really considered "fun" around these parts. Since you already have your answer, I also don't see the point of us guessing anyway. Sorry. Congrats on a healthy baby.

First, congrats on the healthy baby.

Second, like the pp's said, I would remove or crop the photo to remove your personal info.

Third, if I had to guess, I would guess boy. But none of us are ultrasound techs. If the tech isn't 100 percent sure, I wouldn't go and paint a bedroom or anything.

Now for my other "mom" style post - Careful not to use sex and gender interchangeably. There is a a difference. It is an important one that several ladies on the board do take seriously. Your doctor or other medical professional might still be using gender... but if you are unfamiliar with the difference please let us know and we can give you a couple of resources to help you out.

Man, this is just not the day for this crap. We have some heavy stuff going on and a third "lookit my baby's genitals!" post this week is just not cool. Do what everyone has suggested. Take this picture of your kid's junk with your name on it down. If you want a second opinion, go find a new tech or an OB or a midwife. We are not professionals and, frankly, we do not care.

Gah... I'm in no mood.

PS: and now I really want a hotdog...

This^ I was also surprised to she that she did post an intro a while ago and has had a few other "normal" discussion posts too... @Birch113 - I wanted that early on, just ketchup, so i made a grilled cheese, or egg sandwich and drowned the shit out of with ketchup. I also ordered fries once just to have the ketchup.

FYI I totes had a hot dog last night. With ketchup. If putting ketchup on a hot dog is wrong then I don't want to be right.
