Happy to be recovering from a bad bout of fatigue. Also quite hormonal.

4) How are you feeling?
I mostly feel fatigued right now. I don't know I should blame the pregnancy or DS's ear infection and poor sleep. I am getting little glimpses of first trimester misery, but it comes and goes. With DS#1, it hit in full force at 5.5 weeks. I'm trying to indulge in food as much as possible before the vomiting starts! (I lost 10lbs during the first trimester last time.)

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
I need to call the OB for a first appointment. I want to hit the 5 week mark first. I've had a couple chemicals at 4 weeks and 6 days. DH and I also disagree on who else (if anyone) we should tell this early.

Depends on my mood, and if you're talking current bands or of all time. But here's a shot at it:

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? I am supposed to go take the one hr glucose test today but with my stomach feeling off I might wait until tomorrow.

I listen to everything. I do adore David Crowder, Kodaline, and anything country.

4) How are you feeling? Pretty good, finally. The belly is starting to feel heavy and alittle swelling if I am on them too long.
5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? I took the panaroma test twice and got inconclusive so we decided to wait till I am going to my 20 week us to do it again. Ugh! We finally told all the extended family that we are expecting.

Ooh, that's a completely impossible question to answer. I love so many genres of music. So, three I have listened to recently: First Aid Kit, Miles Davis and Amos Lee.

Pretty normal, just soreness (mostly boobs), a little on & off abdominal pain/cramping... no morning sickness though - should I be worried?

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?

My first 'official' prenatal appt is also on Thursday, called 'nurse's talk' with ultrasound & blood work. I'm excited/nervous to see baby again on the U/S. I had a lil blood tinged CM yesterday and got really scared, this is just about the time I had my M/C last year and now I'm super nervous. I want to rant that this is all so frustrating!! First the getting everything timed right, then the (forever) 2WW, so then we finally get BFP, then we're nervous the whole time about what we eat and no overdoing anything and every feeling and "is that cramps or just gas??" and it's all very frustrating! But I know it'll be worth it if we make it to the end of a healthy pregnancy... sorry, I'm just nervous now, tomorrow can't come soon enough! I'm thinking about buying a fetal doppler to help ease my mind so that I can hear baby's heartbeat when I want to... my husband said "but you're going to have an U/S every week or 2 from here on out" ... well it's only been a week (eternity) since my first one and I already can't wait for tomorrow. I know I probably won't be able to hear the heartbeat w/ the doppler for a while, but once I can, I'll probably check a few times a week (everyday) just to ease my mind. Okay, that's it.

Yeah, crazy question, I'm not sure I could narrow it down to 50, I have such a wide range of musical tastes and they seem to change every decade. I guess I'll just share what I'm enjoying most right now ---> Zero 7, MS MR, Gotye, Agnes Obel, Ray LaMontagne... but I've always loved Pearl Jam, NIN, Depeche Mode, INXS, Incubus, No Doubt, etc., I could go on...

4. Had my first OB appt this morning. I thought I would hear the HB but forgot they don't have an u/s machine. My mind..

Anyway she couldn't find on Doppler which is normal but I was kind of freaking out. She gave me a script for an u/s to reassure me but now MH and boss think I'm crazy to get one and I should wait for my next visit.

Feeling pretty good, have some insomnia so I'm wiped out all the time, some minor cramping (nothing to worry about), major brain fog, and my boobs are starting to get big and sore.

First prenatal apt isn't for a few weeks yet.

Boston is my all time favorite band but I will listen to anything except for rap.

@mandyreads‌ did your due date change? Maybe I'm crazy! Lol 1)due date/fruit? 1/20/2015 but could change and probably be induced if she is getting big! I'm an orange this week:) 2)age at delivery? 42...feel 22 (does that count? Lol) 3)any other children/fur babies...DS 28 months and jack Russell/pittie mix named pearl! Them together are Bonnie and Clyde;).... 4)how you feeling..some back aches...but overall pretty good. Get pgal about not feeling kicks but think she isn't as active:) 5) upcoming appts/milestones: Monday next u/s , check up on cerclage, etc. my H wants proof there is no boy parts! Lol... 6) bands ? I listen to everything! Albanian, blues, bluegrass...lol umm ok let's see...Beatles, Rolling Stones, and nirvana ...picked mostly for their endurance and influence on music!

QOTW: What are your top 3 bands? Wow lots of diverse listening for our group! I would have to agree with PP about Nirvana for their influence on the music scene. I still remember where I was the first time I heard Teen Spirit and thinking this is not like anything I had ever heard before (I would have to say I was pretty sheltered musically though). I agree with U2 to be relevant all these years is amazing and they put on a hell of a show. My mom and dad raised us on the Beach Boys so I would have to add them and the Eagles to my list as well, for all the fond memories I have of listening to them with my late Dad.

No furbabies. DD1 is 5.5, DS is 3.5, and DD2 is 1.5

Pretty good overall. Tired, somewhat crabby/snappy today, some groin pain. Crazy dreams last night.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?

Check-in appointment this week was good. I could rant on about my crappy insurance that is making me pay out of pocket for the quad screen. I am now trying to work out whether I can have the REGULAR level II u/s that I've had with the past 3 babies already. They may consider it to be "genetic screening" since it's more extensive than the basic 20 week u/s, and if so, it would not be covered. Totally asinine. Also, I am awaiting quad screen results and hoping for good numbers.

Nope - this is our first

Finally starting to feel better. Some fatigue yesterday afternoon and still a tiny bit of nausea but I had my first really good day Monday so that gives me hope that it is just around the corner!

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?

Appt with the OB on Monday the 4th. After that we will start telling folks and give our parents the green light. DH and I have started to tell our closest friends as we see them / talk to them over the last week or so. Will get my Panorama results in detail - but they told me over the phone everything came back low risk and that these are the best results you can get - so I am not worried about it/didn't push to get the copy sooner.

Not really- I went to the dentist yesterday for my 6 mo clean and was nervous going in that I'd have gingivitus. My gums and teeth were fine. I have my next midwife appt on August 11 and then I think I start going every 2 weeks. It's hard to believe that I'm at that point already (in my mind I'm not due for a really long time and it is only 10ish weeks away- eeek!).

QOTW: What are your top 3 bands?
This is an impossible answer! I love DMB and some of the other jam bands. I'm also pretty into hip hop (favs are Alicia Keys, Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, old Kanye)

hey @NeonNoon and everyone! I had 2nd U/S today and saw baby who's a little bigger! But still only measured 1/3 of an inch. Saw the flashing heartbeat, 156bpm, so that was exciting and reassuring! U/S tech said by the size, I may only be 7wks 1day, but based on LMP I'd be 8wks tomorrow, so we'll see what due date OB chooses next week (8/5).

@NeonNoon - didn't you have an appointment today too? How did it go?? Anyone else?

Oh, I also found out about the MaterniT21 test today too, for 35+ and is non-invasive. I believe the nurse said you can skip a lot of the other little tests over the weeks because they're all included in this one AND you can find out the sex of the baby, all at 10 weeks, that is pretty exciting to think about! I hope insurance will cover it!

@mdogan29‌ that's what happened to me on my first u/s. I was supposed to be 8wks and they said I measured 7weeks. At this last u/s they bumped me back up a couple days.

Thanks for asking. I did get my first US today. It was an internal one. I was kind of anxious about that, but it was a lot less noticeable than I thought it would be. It was done by my female doctor, so that made it less uncomfortable too.

Heart beat was at 177. Doc said it would come down later on in the pregnancy. The fetus was where he/she was supposed to be! That was one of my bigger concerns because of various twinges I had been feeling. And I think the length says 1.8 cm on the print-out (0.7 inches). I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow and everything seemed in line with that. And at my next appt I'll be getting a blood draw for Verifi. I feel really relieved now

@mdogan29‌ - Even if insurance doesn't pay for it, the manufacturer (sequenom) will help you get the cost down to no more than $250.

It tests for the three main trisomies and the presence/absence of the y chromosome.

4. Feeling good, my ankles are cankles by the end of evey shift :-) and I like to spend my free time sleeping 16 hours a day!
5. Next appointment mid August, will go on a family camping trip that weekend, my sister is flying in and cousin will be in town, so we will road trip together :-) I should be past my loss milestone then. Also bloodwork came back, these little ones have paired chromosomes all down the line :-) good news!

Top 3 bands, hmm. My hubby hates when I listen to anything but C&W. I love some old school hip hop R&B, also my old Metal bands, just reminiscing about power ballads over the weekend :-). I heard some Alicia Keys recently, she is amazing still. Too eclectic for a top 3 I guess ::side steps::
