This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently pregnant.

If there are any newcomers that would like to be added to the list, post below and include you EDD and how many beans you have cooking.

Checkin is every Tuesday, feel free to post updates all week.

Ducky719 – 7/22 I had an u/s yest. Baby measured 6w4d (should have been 7w1d based on lmp, but i checked and i didn't ovulate until either cd17 or cd18). HB is 124. The re kept making comments about baby measuring behind and not to be too concerned. Cue freakout. She scheduled me for a follow up u/s this Friday to make me feel better but i had to cancel bc my IF coverage is officially out. The re was ok w this but again, mentioned that baby was a "hair behind". So now I'm finding it difficult to relax. My first ob appt is in 2 weeks. Its going to feel like forever.

Eve_Angelique – 6/25 Almost 31 weeks! Eeeeek! Little lady is doing lots of squirming in there. I am just praying that she doesn't come early!!they didn't get good enough pics of her spine, so I had another today, it was so good to see her squirming around in there!

Kdfecarie, EDD 8/29/14 (CS 8/22/14) 7/22 sorry its been a while life is crazy here right now, and i dont see it letting up till maybe november! 35 weeks now, and baby will be here in 26 days! I cant believe its so soon!!! Been rough with contractions and sickness making a return... Only a few more weeks!

carrera317 – 4/30 - Wow. I guess I've been MIA for a while! 22 weeks here and doing ok. It's finally starting to settle into my infertile mind that I just might bring this baby home! Freak out time!!! All tests and our ultrasound have looked great. We went on a nice vacation to the Caribbean for our 10 year anniversary and now are starting to prep for this new one. It looks like I'm amongst good company with a due date of 9/2 but a probable c section the week before (just not the 29th cuz that's MY birthday!).

Kissies - 4/30 - So I'm 23 weeks now, went to ob this week and my b/p starting to elevate 130/90. I had her check my other arm and it was normal. The elevated arm is the arm I have carpal tunnel in and of course the 3 blood pressure checks made it act up! I got labs done as baseline and all looked good and urine was negative. Still on makena to prevent preterm labor (hate it makes me super emotional and cry like 24 hrs after taking it weekly). I'm afraid I'll be a nervous wreck come 28 weeks because that' when my water broke last time. Trying to stay calm and keep that blood pressure down ) I go back next week because of blood pressure.

LeoLauren - 1/15 - It's official. BFP x 2! Omg (what I'll be saying a lot for the next 7 months)!

LuvBoston, EDD 3/9/15- I had an ultrasound today measuring 7 weeks 3 days right on track with a hb of 160!

Mnerani – 7/22 Not much to report, just enjoying the third tri and still getting settled in to our new house. I'll be 30 weeks this weekend and I have a check-up this Friday. I discovered a great prenatal masseuse really close to our new house, so I'll be doing that every other week from here on out!

Ironmom2be - 4/2 - My update is I'm in limbo between RE & OB. First OB appt isn't for another two weeks. Since I was still spotting last week, my RE offered to have me come in for another u/s, so that's next tuesday (9w) I'm feeling ok, seems like exercising is causing the spotting (my scientific study) so I'm trying to balance staying active enough that I don't feel like a slug and doing too much to cause spotting. I'm tired and nauseous (at times) so I'm just counting my blessings and hoping the 1st tri is over asap so my worries can hopefully fade a little

Jenny935-7/22 We had our 7w3d u/s today. Baby was measuring 7w1d with a hb of 165. We have one more u/s in ten days at the RE before graduating.

BabyKsMommy - EDD 12.3.14 -7/22 Babies are both doing good. I had a quick u/s yesterday at my 20 wk appt. 21 wks tomorrow so I'm rapidly approaching vday, yay!

ccam - EDD 11.29.14 – 7/22 Not much to update. Just truckin' along and getting bigger by the day! 21w3d today

Pennylane26 -Boy EDD 11.26.14 – 7/22 Ugh. Heartburn! It's killing me! Taking omepraz.ole AND rani.tidine and it's still terrible. Other than that, feeling good and still so excited about having a baby boy this time around!

srveatch –7/22 This past week has been a roller coaster of emotions for DH and I. So far all of our tests coming back from the Amnio have been normal. We are super excited to learn we are having a boy but are cautiously awaiting the rest of our test results.

mdiblasi10 –EDD 1/30/15- 7/22 I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow and we have our NT scan today. I'm on an IV at home of fluids and Zofran and haven't eaten anything but jello for six days. It's been tough, to say the least. hyperemesis gravidarum is no joke.

Mayzie15- EDD 2/01/15- 7/22 we did the blood draw for the NIPT last Thursday so now we wait for the results. I'm double and triple checking voicemail and email for the results. They said 7-10 business days and I know it's too early, but just want the results back!

Robeano-EDD 2/3/15 7/22 Well I had my last RE appointment today. Baby was measuring right on track at 12 weeks, with a HB of 164. I got my blood work back and my iron is good (last time it was super low and I was so tired!) AND my SCH is totally gone!! I was so relieved to hear that.

I had my first midwife appointment last week, it was good. We had a lot to talk about though. Since I had high blood pressure last pregnancy they put me on baby Aspirin for the rest of my pregnancy to help prevent it. {PSA it's super cheap at Costco, 300 pills for $5!} Also I was instructed to read a section on VBAC since that is what we're planning on doing.

I also have my first midwife appointment tomorrow. Hopefully we'll be able to hear the heartbeat with their Doppler!!

I have my last RE appointment and ultrasound scheduled for next Tuesday.

I'm finding this pregnancy to be different than last one and it was starting to freak me out last night. I'm a little worried that we won't hear the heartbeat tomorrow. But trying to remain positive!

Cwhitaker27 – 7/15 just wanted to update here. I'm not pregnant anymore cause baby is here. Scarlett arrived via induction at 5 days overdue on 7.1.2014. She is happy healthy and gaining weight like a champ. She is 2 weeks old today.

I am happy to be in second trimester! Here's hoping 2nd tri energy comes soon. I hate this feeling exhausted ALL THE TIME! Like honestly, I'm so tired, and I feel like I can't get anything done. Which does put a strain on me and hubby

. Other than that, things are looking good. Nothing new to report.

QOTW: Mmm, I love salad. No fancy recipe, I just love feta cheese and croutons on a good old garden salad.

I finally received my test results this afternoon and my results came back that I'm low risk and it's a BOY.

I have a big confession and please no flames. I feel like the worst person ever right now. I immediately began to cry and was a little sad that it wasn't a girl. I love my son and I didn't expect this at all, I just wanted a healthy baby - why do I feel like this? I've analyzed this all afternoon. I was extremely close to my mom's mom and I believe she had a hand in our miracle babies. MH and I both believe this will be our last baby. We had a little girl's name picked out that would have honored her and now it won't be used. I'm sad there will no mommy/daughter Mani's & Pedi's and I'm terrified that when they grow up we won't be as close as I would have been with a daughter. This pregnancy was so different from my son's that we really believed it would be a girl. I have absolutely no boys names picked out; with my son we knew immediately what we were going to name him. I'm so incredibly happy that this baby is healthy and I'm so mad at myself for feeling anything other than that

QOTW I love Caesar salad. I really enjoy the south beach version - 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, a clove of garlic, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of dijon mustard, and a 2 teaspoons of anchovy paste - whisk together and add 3 bunches of romaine lettuce, croutons and Parmesan cheese. It's so easy to make and you can increase or decrease ingredients easily and it's a quick dinner.

@Mayzie15‌ no flames here. I totally get it. I also have a gender preference this pregnancy. On the positive side you can now work through the sadness so when baby is here you have nothing but happiness! I'm so grateful for the ability to find out early.

@Mayzie15‌ no flames from me either. I was really hoping for another girl when I was pregnant with #2. I wanted my daughter to have a sister because my sister and I were so close. It was like I was mourning the loss of a relationship that they may or may have had in the future. It's okay to be sad. It took several weeks for us to come up with a boy name and then I finally got excited about having a boy. Now I know boys are awesome cuddly sweet LOs

@Mayzie15‌ I totally get it my pg with LO we thought it was a boy and I was really disappointed because I come from 4 girls that's what I know and I love doing things all girls. I didn't know what I was gonna do with a boy and now that I have one girl I wish for another as I love having sisters there is just nothing like it. But this will hopefully pass for you and if not maybe you can talk DH into #3 later on.

Afm-8 weeks 2 days and I fell really hard on my stomach this weekend but everything is ok LO is measuring ahead which has never happened to me ever. I am still having issue with my MFM so I can't wait till Monday to talk to my OB. Also my digestion has slowed so much my stomach is distended so I look like I'm having trips.

Q: my fav salad is 50/50 mix with grilled chicken goat cheese tomatoes cucs and balsamic vinaigrette

@Mayzie15 - (((hugs))) I can completely understand your feelings, but just think what great friends your little guys will be!

Update: Heartburn, reflux, bleh. I think I'm going to have to start sleeping in the recliner again. Boo! Other than that, feeling great and nothing new! Twiddling my thumbs waiting to set up the nursery.

QOTW: I don't have a name for my favorite make-at-home salad, but I love making salad with: romaine, spinach, sliced almonds, feta, black olives, bell pepper, chickpeas, cherry tomato and a vinaigrette dressing. I'm also obsessed with Cheesecake factory's BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad. I think it may be 5,000 calories though.

Update: Nothing new here! 22w4d and feeling great! Just tired and starting to get uncomfortable while I sleep, but that usually doesn't hit me until about 3am so at least I'm sleeping like a rock before that!

QOTW: Love me some salads! I go through phases but lately it's arugula, toasted pine nuts, thinly sliced red onion & goat cheese with balsamic dressing. Easy and I always have those ingredients on hand. @Mayzie15- I can't even look at the photos of our gender reveal for this pregnancy because I look like I'm trying hard to be happy about having another boy, even though I was very disappointed at first. It took a couple of weeks to get over it and now I'm so excited that my little guy will have a brother, and so close in age. I think you'll get there too. But don't feel guilty in the meantime!

Update: 30.5 weeks and working on the nursery. I'm getting customized bedding from Etsy and I'm excited to really decorate, since I didn't get to do that for LO #1 (given that we were in Kenya). I have so many things on my to-do list for the next 8-10 weeks. At the top of the list is to get DS totally potty trained- so far, it's going pretty well.

QOTW: I love to toss chicken leftovers with any fruits in the fridge (blueberries, pears, etc) onto a bed of lettuce, toast some almonds, and add a fruit vinaigrette. If not for MH, I would eat that for dinner several times a week.

@Mayzie15 Big hugs.

I'm 13w5d today. I'm still on an IV getting Zofran every six hours and fluids every other day, but I went back to work on Monday. I'm not sure how long I will be this sick and I think that is the most frustrating part. I am still unable to eat much - jello, yogurt, cheerios and milkshakes. That's all I can tolerate and it terrifies me for baby's growth. I can't believe how different this has been.... I absolutely LOVED being pregnant with G so this has been really hard

Mnerani Good for you for potty training! I couldn't do it towards the end of my pregnancy. The thought of having to keep bending down to take off a pullup and sit ds on the potty was too exhausting to think about

First off I just want to say I feel very lucky to be part of this group of supportive ladies. I wanted to be honest but I was worried that I wouldn't be understood or I would offend someone - thank you for not judging.

@LeahB12 & @Mnerani & @mcgeeva - Thank you so much for responding - it's nice to know that you ladies have or are going through these feelings and that I'm not alone.

@Mnerani - I can really relate to what you are saying. Because my little guys will be so close in age - I'm nervous that they won't have their own identity and one or the other will get lost in the mix. I'm hoping as time goes on I will get used to the idea of two boys and even become excited.
