7 Weeks Pregnant

Ultrasound Thursday

Hello everyone!  This is my third pregnancy but the first resulted in a miscarriage.  Second was successful with my beautiful DD. I've been being closely monitored by my doc because my progesterone levels were not as high as she liked.  I've been taken progesterone supplements, and been doing bloodwork every three days.  My hormones though not doubling as she would like have been increasing at a steady pace since the beginning of my pregnancy, and the progesterone supplements have kept my numbers up where they need to be.  However today at my last bloodwork appointment the results showed that though my HCG levels were higher, my progesterone level went down to a 12.  The doc's a little concerned but told me not to worry until I go for my ultrasound on thursday to see how everything's panning out.  (Easier said then done, am I right?).  I just needed to get it off my chest, but I'm trying to stay super positive on the home front and taking it easy.

Best wishes and baby dust to everyone else!

Hope you ladies are having smooth pregnancies!

  • Hopefully since today is Thursday you get good news and needed relief from worry! I totally understand about trying to stay positive and not worrying but how very hard it can be. My first pregnancy ended in a MC and I am currently on my second, hoping and praying that this one goes well. I think it might be somewhat different being pregnant and having gone through loss...worry and excitement seem to be completely intertwined. It is really nice to hear that you had a beautiful baby girl after your loss- that gives me hope!

Lots of love and light and good baby vibes going your way today!

  • It's hard not to worry when you've experienced loss. Try your best to stay positive and look at your beautiful little girl because she is proof that you can get through this.

    Good luck!
