40 weeks today!! UPDATE+ MEMBRANE SWEEP.

sooo.. just a quick update. last week i DID NOT have a membrane sweep as the midwife told me they only do them at 40 weeks plus. She said the midwife that covered her must have got confused ha ha. i must say i was quite relieved. she told me i will be having one the week after though ! so, here i am back at home after my membrane sweep! i SURVIVED ! It was nowhere near as bad as i anticipated, was a little uncomfortable and i felt a little pressure- thats about all! i have been getting lower back pain the last hour or so and also my abdomen feels a little odd. MW said i was 1cm dilated..thats better than nothing ha !! please pray for me! this baby is too comfortable! Booked in next week for another sweep if nothing happens and also to book my induction date!! ohhh and also i lost a little of my mucus plug last week, no blood though, just thick and stringy uuuuuurgh. EEK!

    FX that things start to progress quickly. I am glad that the sweep was not as bad as you thought.

    THANK YOU ALL SOOOO MUCH LADIES! You have no idea how much your support means to me!! well, i was having cramps through the night last night and lots of shooting pains straight up my lady parts ha !! i managed to fall asleep, woke up a few times with dull pain and thats about it! AS USUAL my pains are almost gone now :(( hoping they return with a vengeance soon!! big hugs to you all xxx
